Great stopwatch, 8 year old likes to play with it and time stuff. Hourly beeping can be turned on/off. Here are the online instructions we used to do that:Press the button on the right labeled "start/stop" and at the same time press the button on the left labeled "split/reset." Hold both of these buttons down to scroll through the functions.Release both buttons when the "Alarm Set" display is reached. This will show the time that the alarm is set for, even if the alarm is not active.Press and hold the "Mode" button, which will remove the bars shown under the days of the week. Wait until all of the bars have been removed. This will stop hourly chiming

The instructions are printed on the back of the box the item came in. Using a 10X Magnifying glass, I still could not read the instructions.

Very disappointed. Don't waste your money. "Waterproof material" Ho ho ho! Yes, the plastic is waterproof. the insides not even moisture resistant! No gaskets, nothing! I used one in a damp area and it failed. The other just failed on its own inf a few months with the display going bad.These are count-up timer, a clock, and an alarm clock. It will not count down, which is what I need. Instructions on box are too small to read without a 20x microscope. Lanyard is untied, and not properly terminated nor sealed. Once out, it separates into inner and outer strands which can not be re-threaded. If I saw this in a store, I would not have bought it.

I suddenly needed a stopwatch for work and bought it, but the price was cheap so I was worried until it arrived. When I actually used it, there was no problem with measuring it, and it looked pretty good, so it didn't look bad when I used it.
