The accuracy exceeds the other consumer-grade rate of liquid flow meters I have bought previously from big box stores and Amazon. I need a reliable, inline, and permanently installed method to view the water flow rate between my home water filtration and treatment system and the flow rate supplying another branch, including a multipurpose residential fire protection sprinkler system.Other devices I’ve tried were difficult to read because they were fluid-filled needle gauges, had very small LCD digital displays, and had rotating cylinders with imprinted numbers. This device has the largest-sized character display that is viewable from side angles. Calibration is mandatory, and understanding meter and water supply pipe diameters will lead to greater accuracy.I ordered the 1†device and reduced each end to ¾â€. I do not see any reduced reliability of flow rate readings as a result. Units of flow I use is Gallons though many other options can be displayed.For the price and ease of reading the display this meter is the best I have installed and is the one I now rely on for my residential water systems.

I wouldn't use this in any kind of critical industrial process, but duh-doi... For hobby use, it comes in handy a lot, especially for temporary setups or "proof of concept" prototype builds. "How much does this flow, so I know how large to make the reservoir" or whatever. I've used it a handful of times, and been happy with the results. YMMV.

I recently installed the Ameip Digital Flow Meter, and it has been a fantastic.It provides precise measurements, which is crucial for the system I've installed it on. The digital display is clear and easy to read, making it simple to monitor flow rates.Setting this flow meter was straightforward. The instructions were clear, and I had it installed and running in very little time. It fits perfectly in a space that is very tight.The construction is solid and feels quite durable. I’ve had no issues with wear and tear so far.This flow meter works well with various fluids, making it versatile for different applications. It handles everything with ease. I'm measuring water flows.Importantly, this Ameip flow meter has exceeded my expectations . It’s accurate, easy to install, and built to last. I highly recommend it.

I Ordered this to measure my actual throughput of water in custom aquariums and filters. So far I can't measure much yet since it arrived with a very strong gasoline smell that has to be cleaned before risking contamination to anything that will someday hold living creatures or process potable water but a quick test does show the flow rate to be accurate for my needs. Since flow rate is my bigger concern I wish I could swap the two different display sizes and put total volume as the smaller display but they are both easy enough to read in most positions.

This fluid turbine flow meter is very well built. It can be used as described to measure diesel, kerosene, and water – a wide range of fluids. I will be using it to measure flow and volume of an irrigation system.The instructions are very good and clear. Switching from quarts, pints, liters, gallons, and cubic meters simply involves holding a combination of the only two buttons for 5 seconds. The flow meter comes in liters mode with a flow accumulation reading – most likely from initial calibration. I switched to gallons with no problem. Then you can reset the counter either for a single measurement reading or the total accumulation measurement – again no problem.The turbine spins freely. I was able to lightly blow into the meter and the turbine spun with no effort and registered the flow. It was also nice also to see the turbine is held in place with a snap ring that you can remove if the turbine gets tangled with something in the flow.You can also adjust the metering coefficient of the flow meter to fine tune the accuracy via calibration – a real plus.The battery is located behind the display and involves removing the display from the body using four screws. It is described as a #7 battery. I have not heard of a #7 size battery but from checking I found that they are a cylindrical cell widely used but they are not interchangeable and specific to a device. So getting a replacement battery may be an issue when it dies. I am not going to check the battery until it fails so that may be an issue in the future.This flow meter will be great to measure how much water I use to irrigate.
