We bought this product to have hot water available throughout Shabbat. This means that we primarily use the manual pump feature within the cover, not the ‘dispense’ button. On the first couple of uses, the pump worked, but not well: the water came out in a trickle and required great effort just to fill a cup. I emailed Eavaire and explained the problem. Not only did I receive an extremely prompt reply; the company sent out a replacement cover that arrived the next day. This replacement pump works very well; with two pumps, a cup is filled. I am not only happy with the product; I was extremely impressed with the level of customer service.I see other comments regarding the temperature gauge. We found that the recommended temperatures are much too low, but if you set the gauge at the highest possible temperature (208, just below boiling), the unit will supply water that is sufficiently hot for coffee or tea.I recommend this product, and I consider it a very good value. It would also be a practical, reasonably priced wedding gift for a couple who observe Shabbat.

I received my Eavaire water urn a couple weeks back and we've been using it daily in my house since. It was easy to set up and learn how to use it, and we've loved having it around. The construction is solid and the water capacity has been a great benefit, since we were filling up and boiling water in our electric kettle multiple times per day before getting it. I made sure to measure the under cabinet space where I wanted to keep it before purchasing, since I read another review from someone who hadn't and it didn't fit. The product height listed was accurate and it fit perfectly under my upper cabinets in my kitchen.Personally, I highly recommend this to anyone who'd appreciate having hot water on demand - it really is lovely!

It's very stylish, the outside remains cool to the touch which I love because it's around a lot of children. The locking requirement is confusing for first time users, but I'm very grateful it is there. Also, there isn't a turn off button, it's only used on the weekends. Will buy again 😃.

My partner and I drink a lot of tea and I love drinking hot and warm water especially during the winter months. Which means we were having to refill our electric kettle multiple times every day. BUT this appliance is a total miracle. It’s super easy to use. The water flow is amazing when dispensing. It’s very attractive in our kitchen and we were able to set it up within a minute. Basically just fill it plug it in and press the button to start boiling the water.

I have been using this EAVAIR Electric Hot Water Thermo Pot for 4 days since I got it. It looks to me it is functioning as expected and I am very happy to use it.PRO:- Big volume - 5 litter pot. I need this size for my house.- After water is filled in the pot and the lid is closed, it automatically kicks off to boil the water.- Water is also staying hot.- The "Re-boil", "Unlock", and "Dispense" buttons are very useful. Light on LED and water level are handy, especially during night time.CON:- The metal material outside of this thermo pot is very thin, not firm enough. I wish it would be stronger. When I opened it from the box, it already got dented. I had to return and exchange it for another one. It is very easy to get dented outside and needs to be handled carefully. Other than this minor issue, overall it works very well and is very useful for my family.This is my early review. I needs to use it for a couple months and check if it gets rust inside or not.If you need an electric hot water pot with big volume, I really recommend this one.

I replaced prior urns when they got too rusty; never had one simply stop working! Disappointing.Original September 2020 4-star review is below:Arrived promptly; attractive on the countertop. Nice hot water urn; has option of manual or electric pumping mechanism; digital display of water temperature and option of 5 temperature settings; walls seem a bit thin but doesn't get excessively hot to the touch. Minor design drawback is inability to remove lid fully (flips open on hinge), which makes it a little clumsy to empty out and clean. Overall, very satisfied.
