Been using these for a long time as part of an automated rain collection and use system. I use these to know when the flow stops, and monitor transfers between tanks. They don't like to eat twigs but hey, what would you expect? They won't always start on very low flows, but again, they are a very good trade-off for what they do at the price. The one I took apart (to remove a twig and fix some damage caused by wearing against said twig) was very well built and without having eaten something I shouldn't have let in there looks like it would have lasted more or less forever, and never leaked.

Love this ... unlike magnetic reed switch sensors this wont stall in a polarized location giving a false impression of flowing. it is also very sensitive to low flows which a reed switch cant do unless there is a threshold flow

Only 2% accurate, but the calibration factor specified as 7.5hz/(l/min)=450pulses/liter seems to be quite off as well. After averaging a couple of tests, I've calculated it to be more like 13.25hz/(l/min) = 796 pulses/liter.

It is not to much reliable

Got it to work. After testing and calibrating I found that using 6.5 instead of 7.5 as the multiplier gave much more precise readings. Anyone agree?

I have this hooked to an esp32 (flashed with esphome) that talks to a RPi running Home Assistant and it's measuring the flow of water going to our garden. Works great.

Works very well and accurate. Added 0.1 cap on input for noise.

Seems to report relatively accurate flow.

Searched for a long time trying to find a replacement sensor for my Coleman hot water on demand Although the cord wasn’t long enough I just spliced and soldered the old wire on and it works great

The website was not helpfulI did find out that longer cable lengths were available, but no info on how to specify

The product I received was actually the FL-608 and not the FL-408 as specified in the product information here. It has slightly different stats but so far I am able to read the pulses in my test setup. I have not hooked it up to actual liquid flow yet to calibrate it but I believe it will work well for my situation.
