I just finished stitching this stocking and it turned out adorable! It took me about 3 1/2 months working on it for about 2 hours, most days. The pattern is very easy to navigate. I had more than enough of all the colors except the light silvery blue that is used for the trees and snowflakes. The only thing that I didn't like about it was that the large white areas on top and bottom were marked to be half stitches using 4 strands of white. In the picture the white areas look very white and full. When I did it with half stitches it did not look this way. The Aida cloth it comes with is light blue and so doing the half stitches in white didn't fill it in all the way. The blue showed through a lot. So it just didn't look as full (like snow) as in the picture. So I took it out and used 3 strands of white and did cross stitches instead of half stitches and it looked much better! Yes, it was more work but it looked so much better, like it looks in the picture. It is a very, very cute stocking and it really wasn't that hard. It seems like the white areas are very time consuming but you don't have to switch colors often and its just straight white. So I put a movie on and just stitched. You hardly have to pay attention to it. The hardest part was the shadows under the bears because many of the colors are very close and you have to switch threads often. The white sections really weren't that bad. This was my first large project and it wasn't that bad.

This pattern is quick. It only took me about two months. I think the birds are my favorite part. I will say though, make sure all of your half stiches face the same way. It makes the end product look a lot cleaner.

I am a very experienced cross-stitcher. While this is turning out to be a beautiful stocking, I was frustrated by the color symbols on the chart. The Aida cloth is also somewhat stiff so it's not easy when using more than two strands at a time (3 and 4 strands are often used). I am persisting because it is so pretty and I know the recipient will appreciate it, but you need patience and persistence. It is definitely not for beginners.

Really love this pattern! I have a daughter and she decided she wanted me to add a bow to one of the bears. I found a bow pattern and adapted it to fit with a similar pattern as the scarves. So I did adjust it a little bit. I can say that the trees are very spindly and it can be very hard to count.Also, they will be cleaner if you add a liner on the interior.

Looked great and was really excited to use it, but when we got it the packet came with no instructions. I have tried reaching out to the seller and the company but neither one has responded and no where online can you find the instructions. Now they won't refund it because it is a "opened" package. Please avoid getting this brand and just skip the hassle.

My late wife taught me, many years ago, to cross-stitch as a stress relief, from my high school teaching in an urban high school. I have done many sweat shirts, pictures and even took special orders, for children's sweat shirts, when we had a country store. I find it extremely relaxing, and I, personally, enjoy the creativity of watching something materialize before your eyes as you provide the stitches! This stocking will be very special for my very special first great grand son! He was born late November, this past year, so he will be able to "enjoy", a bit more, seeing his very own personal stocking next Christmas! The picture is perfect, and I look forward to many hours of creativity in making it for him!

Started this in November for my daughter and I'm still working on it in January. I don't have a lot of time to do it and only can work on it after the kids go to bed at night, maybe 4x a week but I'm mostly finished. It's adorable though. I am not an expert on needle point or cross stitch but I was able to figure out the instructions, it just took some figuring out on some parts. Will order another pattern for my son when the one for my daughter is completed.

This is a very pretty stocking. My only complaint is that Dimension uses a poor quality embroidery floss. It knots up and breaks easily.

I have had my eye on this pattern/kit for a while now and and thrilled to make this for my daughter-in-law. I've made several Christmas Stockings before, but this one is so beautiful and unique! The pattern is easy to read and well explained, and the cloth and thread are good quality. I've just begun it and look forward to working on it and of course, the end result!

I've not finished this yet, but am very pleased with the kit. I'm sure the finished article will be lovely (barring mishaps!) and will become a Christmas treasure for many years to come.

Me encanta el diseño, pero esperaba que la tela estuviera marcada y esta en blanco. En otras muchas labores que he comprado, todo venia marcado y facilitaba la labor. Aqui no y aunque el diseño esta hermoso, me decepcionó.
