This is my third carseat with my kids over the years. I've gone from Graco, Chicco, and now Diono. I had not used any Diono products before this, but I am impressed!Safety - matters the most to me! I love that this carseat/base combo have safety features the other two lacked (and without impacting ease of use). For this reason, I'd rate Diono higher on safety than the other two.Ease of install matters to me because we switch from my car to my spouse's car often, and sometimes leave the seat at the day care (because one of us drops off and the other picks up), so quick and easy install really matter to me - this one is the absolute easiest! I'd rate Diono slightly higher on ease of install than the other two on install.Comfort - It's similar to both Graco and Chicco in terms of comfort design and padding. Diono included the seat belt harness covers, which one of the others did not, which I like for comfort. I'd rate Diono on par with the other two, maybe slightly higher for the harness covers.All in all, I'm perfectly happy with this carseat given the quality, extra features, and lower price compared to similar carseats I've used.

Our carseat was damaged and this Diono works great. Easy to install and remove each and every time. The base is simple to use and takes up very little seat space. The carseat itself is relatively lighter than the one we were using before. Easy to remove all padding for washing is a big plus.

This car seat is pretty good. It was easy to install. It is a little less padded than other car seats I've had, but not bad. Easy to click into place and pop out. Overall, it's a good basic option.

The build quality of this infant car seat is quite nice. I honestly can’t tell why some brands charge more than twice while the quality of their car seats don’t feel any better than this. With baby inside, the whole car seat felt like about 20 pounds so not bad to carry around. The insert and padding could be a bit thicker but since I always fold and place a small sheet for the back, it was not a big deal. For installation, it was straightforward and easy. Overall, it’s a budget-friendly nice quality infant car seat that won’t go wrong with, especially since you won’t use these for too long before changing to a toddler car seat.

Car seat was easy to install and was not very time-intensive; it is still wide, bulky, and needs a lot of backseat space like most brands so be aware of that when installing it. Straps are easy to adjust quickly, seat lifts in/out without issues, and it overall is light enough to not be too heavy even with a baby inside.
