Replacement grill grates for our older Kenmore grill. Cast iron with porcelain coating. The second set we have purchased for this grill, each set has lasted 4-6 years. The porcelain coating deteriorates after that amount of time.Easy to install, heavy weight, equal to the original grates that came with the grill.

These grates are my 3rd replacement set and are absolutely the best quality of the three. My first two sets had rough texture which made them difficult to clean and eventually caused the surface to flake which led to rusting of the cast iron. The porcelain coating on this new set is glass-smooth and very easy to clean. This was my first time using Direct Store Parts and would highly recommend buying grates from them.

I bought these to replace the stainless steel grids on my NexGrill. I wish I had replaced them a long time ago. I saw an immediate improvement in the performance of the grill as soon as I made the change. These grates get hotter, reduce hot spots and maintain heat far better than the stainless grid provided out of the box. Food does tend to stick to these grates a little more than the previous stainless steel grates, but it's well worth the trade-off. I would highly recommend these grates as either a an upgrade to metal grates or a replacement for existing cast iron/porcelain grates.
