This well-crafted machine does it all. Most connections are of a push button catch and release. A press of the button via hand or foot opens the catch. There was a small learning curve as your body position is important in order to access certain features. Changing tools is easy. Every tool that came with the machine stores on the machine. You may want to keep the catch open with a thumb press versus forcing the catch to snap in place. Dirt bin is well sealed, easy to empty and easily snaps back in place. A clever design provides 2 feet of extended reach for the hose. Floor brush works well on flat surface and low height carpets. Thicker carpets may require multiple passes. The machine itself fully loaded w tools is very light weight. The motor and vacuum strength are just right imo. More power would make this a heavier machine.

For the price, this vacuum is terrific. The suction power is STRONG. I love that you can detach the hose and wand and use the attachments to get cobwebs on the ceiling etc. I like the size of the dirt cup as well.Downsides:- The wand is short. I went onto the Dirt Devil website to order an extension wand; it was a mere$10 plus $10 in shipping (and several days' wait). Without the extension wand, you have to bend way over to use the attachments (I have textured rugs and use the wand tool on them) or are limited as to how high you can reach. Why not offer the wand as an add-on with the cord rewind version of the machine?- Mine does not easily lock into the upright position. It seems like the mechanism is defective.- Attachments fall off of the holders constantly.But, again, for the price, I find it an effective, lightweight, versatile vacuum. I find it terrific for the price.

Besides being incredibly lightweight it has amazing strong suction power. It totally removed all the cat hair from the carpet that my old Oreck upright left behind. Not needing bags, it’s easy to empty + I really appreciate the cord rewind function. Great price!

Works great! Easy to adjust for hardwood or carpet, chord is long so it has a good range of motion. It’s pretty heavy which makes it a little difficult to go up and down stairs.

I vacuum every week. My vacuum was about 20 years old and still (I thought) had great suction. The hose split so I replaced that one with this one. The first time I used the vacuum the amount of dirt that came up was unbelievable. It was like I hadn’t vacuumed in years. This vacuum is awesome. But make sure you keep everything out of its way including pets and children! The suction is powerful. But you will wonder what your old vacuum was really doing after you use this.

Just got this vacuum. Works wonderful. Has strong suction to pick up dirty and whatever else you got. I love my Dirt Devil! Not a heavy vacuum cleaner either. Really easy to use. Has a good long cord for maneuvering.

I had a previous Dirt Devil vaccum which worked well and lasted. My prior vaccum was a Bissel which was heavy, the pedal to recline vaccum for cleaning position broke off. No more Bissel. This Dirt Devil is fairly light, good suction, good cord length, also was a good price. I have 4 medium size throw rugs, and 1 large one. I empty the dirt cup by placing a plastic bag quickly over the opening once opened, otherwise you’ll have dust/dirt on your floor. I do this outside and wipe the interior out with a damp cloth.

I am a fan of the Dirt Devil and have had one for many years. This new one seems a little heavier but the power is great. The baglessness is a blessing!

Easy to assemble. Works great, have had no issues with this vacuum. Light weight and easy to manoeuvre.
