I got the Discovery #Mindblown 12-in-1 Solar Robot Kit for my niece, and she absolutely loved it! The kit is a fantastic hands-on STEM experience, allowing kids to build 12 different robot designs while learning about solar power and engineering concepts. The pieces are well-made, and the instructions are clear enough for kids (with some adult guidance for younger ones). The working solar-powered motor adds an exciting touch, making the robots truly come to life. It's a great way to spark curiosity and creativity in young minds. Highly recommend for any aspiring little engineer!

I purchased two of these for presents we had the gifting and its pass return time and both children ended up with toys that did not work. Do not buy these I am so frustrated because I can’t get my money back. Do not buy from this company its forces a rating I would give a minus if I could

Our family really enjoyed building the Discovery Solar Vehicles Creation set together! The set provides instructions for 12 different vehicles. It also allows you to open up your creativity and leverage the skills you learn by building the default vehicles to piece together your own creations. My kids loved watching the finished robot (Buddy Bot 64 according to them) roll across the floor with the help of a bright flashlight, or the sun. The instructions are easy enough for our 9-year-old twins to follow on their own but too complex for our 6-year-old. Personally, I think the illustrations could be a little bigger so that the pieces are clearer.I took 1 star off because of the kit pieces themselves. You have to break every single piece out of several plastic sheets (think model airplane) upon opening the kit. This proved too difficult for my twins to do themselves and honestly was pretty annoying to me as well. I ended up snapping 2 of the pieces because they're pretty fragile but you still have to pry them out of the sheet.Overall, we were very pleased with the kit and would gladly purchase them for others as gifts, or different sets for our own kids.

Directions are subpar but with a little creativity you can figure them out. Motor is very weak and the solar panel does not deliver enough power with high intensity Led light to make the robot move. Attached a battery and it worked but it certainly does not work as advertised.
