The puller performed as expected. This is a must have for flush mounted bearings that may have a shaft going through them.

I am an industrial electric motor mechanic and I remove bearings, gears, couplers, pulleys, etc all day/every day at work. Recently, I needed to pull a bearing recessed inside the commutator of a DC motor. Blind hole, shaft through the inner race. I ended up making dummy ball bolts and using a t-bar to get the 6203 out. I spent 2 hours grinding down two hex cap bolts. I had enough of that. After, finally, removing the bearing, I got online and did some research. First stop was Snap-On and found nothing that would work. So, a little searching on Amazon resulted in my decision to buy this kit. It’s good up to a 206-306 bearing size which will be perfect because most blind hole bearings I deal with are this size or smaller. As stated in other reviews, the case is well made. Metal hinge pin instead of a molded plastic pivot that would eventually break off. Decent latches on the front. The tool is pretty comprehensive and will solve many headaches for me. The screw threads are more coarse than I would like them to be. You can tell this tool was made overseas by how cheap the parts feel and mate with one another BUT over all I think this will be a reliable tool for me. I may only using it once in a great while so I will probably never wear it out. So for $62, I can’t complain. If there was a Made In USA version that is just like this tool, I would buy it right away. But this is the best, and most comprehensive dummy ball puller I could find.

Puller works for light duty use but when it's used on something stubborn you find out real quick that the metal is too soft, the puller becomes warped and the jack screw bends. The bearing inserts don't always fit properly in all bearings, some of the inserts I've had to touch up with a grinder to make them fit in the bearing.

Highly recommend purchase of this puller set. Has great flexibility, is well made, and a great case.If I'd had this before attempting to take my BOSCH Alternator from a 2008 BMW 528i apart, I'd be all set. But the other pullers that I tried to improvise with damaged the alternator casing and I have to purchase a drive-end flange replacement from the UK.It took a tremendous amount of force to drive the alternator shaft out of the bearing on this application. I had to use an extra-long 17mm box wrench on the drive nut, and a 16-inch adjustable on the puller handle. Took quite a bit of turning, and then I heard a "bang"; almost like a gunshot. Figured I'd broken something, but it was just the alternator shaft breaking free from the bearing inside diameter. No damage to the tool, or the alternator casing.Highly recommended.

I was on the fence about buying this one over the cheaper ones. But I saw the case had a pinned hinge and metal latches so it will last a lot longer then the cheap plastic bend hinges and latches. Sure it's not high dollar quality but it worked great for my application of pulling a bearing carrier out of a small outboard lower unit. 4 stars cause of quality but for 55 bucks it's worth it I think

You get what you paid for.It worked out pretty well for the first few months that I’ve had it, but certain accessories started bending and not working as well as I wanted it to. If you are looking for something long-term, I would spend some more money for better quality.

When I found myself knee deep in restoring an old Mustang, this bearing puller kit turned out to be invaluable. Trying to remove the seized bearings from the car's wheels was something that no amount of penetrating oil or air hammer could tackle! However, with this kit, I was equipped to tackle just about any size I encountered. The kit’s L-shaped wrench and the included extensions saved me countless hours and spared me from further frustration and headaches!!Also the sturdy storage case keeps everything; I always get anxiety with kits that have a lot of parts that DO NOT have a storage case. It never ends well! LOL!All-in-all, this is a tool set that is a must have for anyone doing mechanical repairs or restorations on vehicles or machinery.

It works well, I wish that the kit would include a shorter set of post, my bearing was on the surface and a shorter post would have saved me lots of time. :-)
