Friendly Reminder : Two Displays CANNOT Display Simultaneously. (Share 1 Monitor and 2 Computers 3 Devices)
IMPORTANT NOTE:
You need to use a standard DP1.4 cable to connect this switch to work properly, otherwise it will flicker or the screen will turn black. Two displays CANNOT display simultaneously. While connecting to Source or Display, you must use the usb cable to power the splitter, If you do not power the splitter, your source or display can not show anything. Do not use too long cable(total 3m) for connection between the switcher and your devices.

Worked perfectly. Both computers had DisplayPort outputs and my monitor only had one DisplayPort input.

I had an issue with the monitor blinking, and thought I'd isolated the issue to the insertion of the switch, but it turned out to be the new cable that was also inserted with the switch. I recommend going with a short (say 1.5') cable as one of the cables from source to monitor. My monitor is 4K and my cables are 4K, but 6' + 10' is blinky. 6' + 1.5' is fine. Also, try checking your 5V power with a USB power checker, some of those USB blocks are pretty bad. The two switches I bought have been working fine since I purchased them over a year ago.

This is a setup to share One monitor with my desktop and mini pcreading reviews, I had concerns about screen flickering but so far no issues on either side of the switchpossibly because the USB is connected to the power strip, it works so far as I hoped it would

This product simply does not work as described, and I'd wager several thousand dollars that the seller knows this. This switch struggles to work at even 59Hz on most resolutions. The description shows this will work with 1440p at 120Hz+. Let me amend that: Over the course of flipping the switch 200+ times, it may work at 120Hz+ a sum total of 3 times. This switch does not consistently allow any level of performance. In fact, if I change my display settings, it will cause my monitor to absolutely freak out for a solid 30 seconds. If I'm lucky, I'll have been able to change up my frame rate from 59 to 84. Otherwise, both of my screens will simply go blank - even the screen not connected to the switch! It CAN work at 120Hz+ on RANDOM occasions after potentially HUNDREDS of attempts. Lies. Blatant lies.If the price is too good to be true... yeah, it's too good to be true. This will work as a very basic KVM. It is NOT a competitor to more expensive switches. If you're looking for 100Hz+ on any resolution, G-Sync compatibility, or smooth transitioning between both computers, look elsewhere and expect to pay upwards of 100 USD, 250 USD, or 500 USD depending on if you want 1, 2, or 3 of these features.

Long and short: If you have a 2k or above monitor that you want to hook two PCs up to, this is your bag. 3 male-to-male Displayport cords required.Bought out of a need to swap my 2k monitor between two pcs. Be forewarned, it does not come with a cable of its own, so you'll need 3 (Three[III]) cables to get it to work properly. Do not use adapter cables, or a cable that is Displayport on one end and a different kind on the other. They don't work. Just Displayport male to male, here.As for the picture quality, that was why I got this. My monitor has only one DP on it and two HDMI, and both computers would not use the 2K resolution unless plugged into the DP, thus this product. Both PCs hooked up to the switcher, and the switcher hooked up to the monitor itself. Easy as pie.The switcher is made of a hefty, sturdy feeling metal case. It feels reliable at the time of this review. There's one button, two lights to show which device you're looking at that you switch between the press of said button. It is all powered by a single 5V USB-C port that must be plugged into your computer, which is required to use the switcher. Fortunately the usb cord is supplied. I needed a switch to transition between a Macbook Pro and a laptop going out to 2 display ports. I did not need them to connect at the same time. I just need to plug one in and have my 2 monitors work.It worked well for about 10 months and then only one monitor would work. I switched HDMI cables, tried replacing them but still only one or the other monitor would operate. I probably would be ok with it lasting such a short time but considering I use it about once a week, I was disappointed.I'll try another brand and hope for better results.

Used a usb-c to display port from one laptop and mini display port to display port from another laptop and it works flawlessly switchIng between the two on my 1440p 165hz monitor.

This was my forth attempt to get a switch that worked between a Xbox Series X and a Legion 5 laptop. Easy to setup and more importantly it works flawlessly switching between the both machines with the push of the button (pity it doesn't have a remote control).

I use this as a switch for my Wacom tablet between two computers. Works fine. Not sure why the review asks about a remote. It sits on my desk and I manually select it.
