I absolutely love the litterbox these are designed for. Best odor control of any of them, and I've tried them all. Unfortunately, I have a cat that just doesn't like the crystal litter. I wanted something I could buy that fits this litterbox that did NOT come with the litter so I could buy my own for my sensitive cat. It is working nicely! Putting these together doesn't take long. I do agree that the holes at the bottom of the box are a design flaw. I cover them with clear packing tape, and I also have my litterbox sitting on a mat to protect the carpet. I am using these with a different kind of nonclumping litter that is softer on the paws, and it works great. I only have to buy these every few months, so it lasts quite awhile. I have it added to my subscribe and save!

These trays fit the cat box great. The issue is there are holes on the side of the box thats where you fold tabs over. These four long slits allows pee to drain out on to your floor. I have 3 cats and two of these auto pet safe cat boxes using these trays and when I cleaned them early because the smell of pee was horrible I noticed it pooling up underneath both cat boxes. I use pet safe cat litter and it’s not the litter issue it’s the trays! Why in the world would you make cat trays with holes? Horrible design! BUYERS YOU ARE WARNED. Don’t get your hard wood floors ruined.

I find the listing for these 10 disposable cardboard liners confusing and this is why:The listing mentions numerous times that these are disposable litter trays that are compatible with the Pet-Safe Scoop Free self cleaning Litterbox complete Plus. In the photos it shows the litter trays with the self cleaning litter box. It never really says whether or not you are buying the disposable litter trays AND the litter box OR if you are only buying the disposable carboard trays ONLY.Once it arrived, it became apparent that you are only buying 10 disposable cardboard trays which you have to put together yourself. The amount of money it costs for these is extremely high, in my opinion.These are not leak-proof. Since you have to put them together into a box format, there are many holes and open spaces which urine and litter leaks out of unless you put duct tape around the entire tray, which is more work and money. I just find the whole set to be extra work and money. It's actually cheaper to buy a new litter box every two weeks than to use these with a self cleaning litter box which you have to buy separately for $150, depending on the model. I suppose the one upside to these is that you can avoid having to clean the actual litter box as often as you might have to if you were to put the litter in the litter box without the disposable trays.

I liked several things about this product. #1 is the price - much less expensive then pre assembled boxes. Because they come flat boxes are much easier to store. I read reviews about leakage & was prepared. Used packing tape to cover slots both inside & out as well as taking precaution of placing pad under litter box. Works well with scoop free litter box. A lid would be nice but for the price I’m happy with this purchase.

I've used the PetSafe auto cleaning litter box for over 10 years. It's the cardboard trays that can get expensive and I understand why people would get the metal permanent trays. This case of trays, however comes in a pack of 10! Normally I would only get a 3-pack for around the same price. The more expensive ones do, however come with the litter, unlike these. My cat passed away before using this whole case. It's nice and easy to use disposable trays. I've never had a problem with leaks, but I didn't use these long.
