I purchased these scapels to use as seam rippers while sewing. They work better than their counterparts that are marketed for sewing and a whole box is less expensive.

This is the best stitch ripper I've used in a long time., The handle is comfortable for my arthritic fingers and the blade is quick and efficient,Beware, however, This product is designed for medical purposes. Consequently, the blade is very sharp, Use with care and store only with the blade cover in place,

Believe it or not I use this with my sewing. I can take stitches out very fast with this. It’s really great! Very sharp! I didn’t need the whole box but number 12 are hard to find.
