Fit and works very nice only problem I have only one side grips the glass the other side the glass slides into it but when you try to open the lid if you're not careful it comes apart and you could end up breaking your piece of lid

I put this on my aquarium lid it did not fit snug so I had to fill the gaps with silicone next time I would probably buy one design for a aquarium next time but otherwise great product pretty sturdy don't see it breaking anytime soon hinge seems durable

I have an awesome glass computer desk ( also from Amazon), which was perfect in my hardwood office, as the glass tops were level and even. I moved the desk to the carpeted office, and the very slight difference in carpet depth made the glass desk tops unlevel - and they'd shift and hit the edge of the other one every time I moved. If you know about tempered glass, then you know hitting the edge is more likely to shatter it, so it was just a matter of time before I had a cascade of crumbly glass everywhere.After a long bout of shopping for a 'fix', I found these. They separate the glass panels, keeping them from hitting each other as well as making the desks 'connected', with minimal effect to the appearance or the function. A bit of careful placement of one hinge at the rear edge also keeps the mouse cord (Yes! I use a wired mouse. So sue me.) from getting bound up in the desk, so my game play isn't interrupted by the cord getting snagged.I only needed two, but I have a few extra for if and when I move the desk to a new position.
