I was concerned that they would be too small and lost easily or worse, get sucked into the pool sweep. They are approximately the size of a half-dollar around - about like a large strawberry to give it context? The gems themselves are good and sink fine, big enough to see well (except for the colorless one so make sure that gets found before you get out!). The neat little box is somewhat fragile and cracks easily with some mishandling. It might not last long by the pool in the hands of little ones. Good value based on this one set.

I am so happy with this purchase. I spent a lot of time looking at reviews for plastic gems so I could hide them when my almost 3-year-old granddaughter comes to visit me and so many of the listings I visited had disappointed buyers because the product they received wasn't as described, the gems were small or were backed in silver, or they looked sharp and could insure a child. These gems are as big as the palm of my granddaughter's hand and they are bright. The chest won't last long because it it cheap plastic, but the gems themselves are what I am interested in and they are perfect for my purposes, and would also make great diving toys, which is what they are being sold as. I am going to buy another set of these soon so I can build a bigger treasure hunt for her. I highly recommend this product.

Fun and so cute to play in the pool! The treasure box was smaller than I thought it would but but the kids loved it

These are the envy of all the kids at the public swimming pool. Boys and girls alike. Autistic kids seem to really like them. They covet them like real gemstones and get real upset when they aren't all in the chest. This has happened multiple times. We use them as diving toys. That said, we can't use the clear or light blue. They blend in too well with the bottom of the pool. Lastly, they need a new box design. It would be great if there were little holes in the bottom to drain water and the clear plastic gets foggy and scratched almost immediately so it looks terrible after that. The gems themselves can take a beating and still look great. They are about the size of a nectarine.

It's cute, but the chest is made rather cheaply. Mine came with a couple of little cracks in the top front of the lid another larger crack in the side of the chest. Doesn't seem like its built very sturdy. You would think that with charging you $7 for if you plastic gems they could give you make the chest more durable.

My kids love playing with these diving gems. The treasure box is very small maybe like 4 inches but does the job.

The photos provided by Amazon are entirely misleading. When the product arrived it was hilariously small, not at all what I expected, but it gave me and my partner a good laugh! It was meant to be a gift for a child, but the gems are so small I worry that they’d be a choking hazard and they could easily get caught in a pool vacuum. Unless you want a teeny tiny treasure chest, I recommend looking elsewhere for pool/dive toys! Additionally, the chest arrived scratched and seems like it’d break in a day. The gems are pretty cute and are about as sturdy/durable as any other chunk of plastic.

Smaller than it looks. The little plastic chest that the gems came in was scuffed and cheap looking
