an easy and efficient reel, it works great for doing cold water recovery, allowing me to lay a follow line while doing searches.

I saw some dude raving about using a diving reel for his kayak anchor to manage the line so I had to give it a try. I was hoping to get at least 100' of new 3/32 paracord on this reel, but only managed to get about 55'. If I were to purchase something like this again, I would buy the bigger reel. The picture shows the reel with the original line on it. I don't think the stock line would handle a 5.5 pound grapnel anchor if I had to yank on it if it got stuck. It does look kinda cool with my gear though.

I rarely write reviews, but this reel deserved one. It arrived today and I'm in love. I have small hands and it fit like a glove. It was easy to run the line once I got the hang of walking and tying off with it. This is by far the easiest reel I've ever used as far as not wanting to birds nest when you reel it up. I'm not certain how durable it is because it just arrived but it feels quite sturdy. So far, it gets a 5 out of 5 stars. I'm going to practice with it a few times before diving with it and will up-date.

Tangles up all the time. I got them for another purpose than what they are advertised for. They don’t work in the application I was using them for.

I love it for use deploying my quick release small kayak anchor, but it sucks reeling it back up with the tiny knob. Would love to modify it to have something more substantial 🤔

I bought this to use as an anchor reel, but the handle is too small and the spool won't hold enough paracord for my needs.

This item not purchased for diving but as a means to store/use/retrieve a long length of nylon line.

Whoever walks their cat on a harness knows that it's not like walking a dog. The cat decides where to go, not you. This allow me to stay in the street while my cat explores my neighbours' properties. Obviously it doesn't retract like a Flexi leash does but it does the job.
