These work out just fine for their purpose. I need to get my husband to make me some, as that would be a lot cheaper. But this is a lot quicker and less nagging needed!

I liked that it was cheaper given how expensive other stretcher bars were on amazon for individual pieces. I used these for my art class to stretch a 20 x 28 canvas which was sturdy enough to use with a staple gun. My teacher was worried they were going to break since they were so thin compared to the ones other students were using, but it worked out in the end. The only issue that I have encounterd with these stretcher bars is that they seem to have very mild wood splitting near the edges. They still fit together nicely despite this, but I will say that they don't have the highest quality wood. I didn't need the middle piece but may it will come in handy.

I love that these stretcher bars were such great quality...very sturdy. The kit came with plenty of tacks to ensure that the canvas was properly secured. They even included the hanger hooks so your canvas is in no way damaged when you decide to mount it on the wall. The box that the contents came in was impressive, as it was about a 3-4 foot long rectangular cube, as opposed to shoving everything into a flimsy Amazon bag. I was also impressed by the personal touches that this manufacturer took the time to express. They sent a full how-to-video to my email address and left their business card (inside the box) just in case I had any questions. I'll definitely be ordering from them again!

The kit came with 20 tacks which would be fine if they didn't break every other one. So now I don't have enough tacks to even half a$s stretch the canvas. I have to buy more tacks to finish.The good thing about the kit is the frame is good wood and it fits together tightly. That was awesome compared to other kits I've used.

Assembles easily. Sturdy. Easy to stretch the canvas. Works with regular painting canvas and prestamped paint by number canvases.

I ordered a size too big so I couldn’t wrap my canvas around it. Ended up attaching the canvas to the back and using it as just a raw frame. Still very happy with how it turned out. Easy to assemble.
