I bought these for my 4th graders. Each have their own magnet in the classroom. This was a value and they are strong. No one has lost the magnet from the clips so I’d say they are adhered to the clips well. The black is different but I like them.

Magnets are hit-or-miss, even when labeled 'heavy duty'. These can hold 4-5 sheets of paper before beginning to slide down my refrigerator - good enough for notes and photos, but not for the construction paper artwork my young kids bring home. Heavier items require 2-4 of these clips, so thankfully they come in a multipack. The metal is lightweight and not especially durable. Some of the magnets fell off but were easily glued back on. They do have a tendency to scratch surfaces, which doesn't concern me (the kids are capable of far worse!) but might be an issue for someone else. Functional budget buy

I got these for my cubicle at work to hang decorations as well as paperwork. Love these things. The magnet is strong but does have a weight limit.I can hang maybe 4-5 sheets of paper on the clip and hang it on a wall without it slowly sliding down from the weight.**Also can be used as a cubicle snack bag clip in the office. LOL!

The magnet comes loose from the metal clip. The mouth of the clip ships with tape over it that’s impossible to get off so if that’s something that’s going to bother you aesthetically just be aware
