Let me preface this by saying I am an On-Stage dealer. Their stands are great. I needed a stand really fast and the Bloazzup Light Stand caught my eye. I was debating between two different stands but this one edged out the other by a few bucks. I am so glad I chose this stand. They feel like they're good quality, metal collars, plenty tall enough for my use. I am so glad I went with these stands. A similar model of On-Stage would cost more that twice what these cost.

I've only been using this for four days now. The top tightening plastic knob has stripped where the nut inside no longer grips the plastic knob. It just turns and turns but no longer tightens. Somewhat useless now. I'm getting real tired of these cheap plastic parts. The very parts that need good strong materials simply do not have it. They fail far too soon.

Was a very sturdy stand to hold heavy lights. The only negative was that you need to have equal weights on each side of the bar so that the unit doesn't tip over, but I still give it a five-star rating!

This is *far* better made than I was expecting. The tube sections are thick, all the connecting pieces are substantial, and the resulting stand is sturdy even when weight distribution is uneven.The height you can achieve with this stand is also impressive and, while I probably won't throw too much weight on them if they are at maximum extension, at a modest height (5-7 feet) I have thrown half a dozen DMX lights on it and it remains sturdy and stable.If I run into problems with use, I will revisit this review, but I really don't anticipate any issues - this stand is built like a tank and I suspect it will give me many years of service.
