This is a great addition to your parties, make it like a real party! These are pretty good for the price but needs to be able to select one motion pattern and stay on it. It also needs a way to slow down the pattern changes. The patterns go by way too fast. Both of these issues keep it from being suitable for holidays unless you are OK with pausing on a particular pattern (no motion) which isn't easy because the patterns go by way too quickly.

Hey, the product description (at the time I requested this product) did NOT mention that it had a laser light show, and let me tell you it is BRIGHT!!!!The light show in the product pictures is 100% accurate, however it should be noted that the lights and lasers are significantly brighter than what is pictured in the product page. Because of this, the product has beat our expectations and we would highly recommend this for a large gathering as it can put out that much light/lasers over a wide spread area.We tested this at dark in our back yard (in anticipating of an upcoming pool party) and it easily covered about 250 sqft when placed out our second floor window, it could cover a larger area if you have the height available.One thing you ought to know is that this requires a USB-A cell phone charger to run as one is not provided. Therefore, if you only have USBC chargers around the house your gonna need a new charger. It's not a big deal but the cord is very short, so we used a 12 foot USB extender that we already owned to hook it up. Therefore if you purchase this, get a USB-A extender and a charger.The remote control works great and there are a lot of options for the light show that you can cycle through. This was one of my favorite products to review.NOTE: In case you didn't know, laser light shows can destroy camera sensors (including your cell phone). When using this product, do not use a camera to point towards this lighting unit, you need to aim away from it.I would have added photos for your review, however the lights are so bright my iphone is doing a TERRIBLE job of capturing what it looks like on the ground.

There are several poolside parties planned this summer for the grandchildren and I think this light show will increase the fun and excitement. My 8 y.o. granddaughter is the most excited about this idea. You can shine these lights anywhere, across the room at a wall or set it on a high shelf and point it down toward the floor. I'm mounting it high on the deck and pointing it down into the patio and pool. The lights are powered by any USB power source. If you have an outlet handy, you can plug in a charger block. I'm planning on using a power bank so I just have to make sure it is charged up before the party.The lights look great and you can try out the options with the remote. There is a mic on the back of the box so it can also respond to any music you play depending on the mode you have it in.This is a great light show to have available. I'd recommend having a power bank, especially if you are taking to new locations where you don't know what will be available.

I am a mostly retired mobile DJ, and most of my lighting effects are large and bulky. Some laser effects are much smaller, but they still have some size to them and the options are usually fairly limited. I wasn't expecting too much from this little light fixture, but I was surprised and pleased.This effect light has both red and green laser effects, as well as different colored moving gobo effects, and some strobe lights, all in a small package. The strobe lights actually aren't too much to speak about, as they are not all that bright and they get washed out with the other effects going on (but sometimes just having flashing lights may be what you're after). The lasers are bright and shine for a long distance; they have different patterns/designs that are cycled through. The gobo effects also have different colors and patterns, and they are surprisingly crisp and sharp at almost any distance (but the images will be angled/distorted if you don't shine the light straight down on the floor or against a wall).You can change the modes and settings via remote or by pressing a couple buttons on the unit -- either or both lasers, gobo on/off, strobes on/off, pattern cycles, and sound-activated light/movement.I will gladly add this to my other lighting effects and use it without reservation. The lasers and gobos are neat.
