I liked the quality. Some instructions about how to set up all the straps and gear would have been nice. Trying to figure out how everything goes together would have made it a 5 star review. Still not sure how to put everything together. Used for storm damaged trees.

Not to bad for the amount you pay. Make sure you adjust them to right below the knee, right above your calf.

This will be great if you’re like 7 foot And 150 pounds to 200 pounds For the smaller people, it’s uncomfortable You can’t adjust a tighter by poking your own hole through the strap

Perhaps I'm just not used to using such gear, but it made climbing so much more difficult. I bought this because I have a could of trees to finish taking down, and the safest way to accomplish this due to houses being close by yadda yadda. Anyway, these force you to use the arch of your foot to climb and anchor with. Which is really difficultThe leather straps are so stiff that they might as well be a tree branch. And it hinders your ability to tightly secure the braces to your legs. Maybe if you've got calves like Dwayne the Rock Johnson? But I'm not built like that, and in fact most of the earth's population is not. This being said though, this item does earn points for the fact that the straps do go small enough to be secure for me. So that's good at least. When you can accomplish that feat.I'm not built like a stick, but after some muscle loss due to an injury I don't have the gams I used to eitherThe belt was also not good. The padding was nice, and the loops were ok. But the carabiner thing is trash. You need 2 hands or to be flat on stable ground and eyes on the thing in order to maneuver the thing, and then it's also sharp as hell. That damn thing almost made me fall trying to get it clipped or unclipped. If I remove the guard thing, maybe it would be less dangerous for effective use, but I also completely understand that the guard on it is a safety feature. I've just never dealt with one that was so anti-functional. Yeah, you read that right. Anti-funtional.Anyway, I haven't got the ability to compare this to other similar products so I guess> buyer understand them things I mentioned. I can't say it is or is not worth the money.The metal, the spikes and the leather straps ALL seem solid and sturdy and as though they'll hold up nicely. But it just isn't intuitive at all to try to climb with your arches. And that carabiner too is a danger. Perhaps if you're used to these types of climbing aides and you swap out the carabiner you'll be pretty golden.Oh, the curved shape of the foot area is also uncomfortable to me. Forces your feet in a manner that even more emphasized the use of the arch of the foot to do all the work. So 🤷ðŸ¼â€â™€ï¸ there's that.

They work out of the box BUT I had to sharpened the tips because they don't come sharpened. The top leg strap is ok but needs cushion like in the expensive ones for added prolonged comfort. Not bad for the price good deal not perfect.
