I bought this to repair a phantom 2 vision that took a few hard "landings". It got me back flying in no time. One issue I did have was the cable for this compass on this was not as long as the original grey cable. I'm not sure if I could have plugged this into the main board compass connector instead of the one on the gps board. What I ended up doing was popping the white case off of this one and using the original grey cable. If you want you can do the same thing, which means you don't even have to open the case to replace the compass. I'm very happy with this and I'm thinking about buying another one just to keep as a spare.

My DJI phantom wouldn't sit still when hovering with no fingers on the remote. Turns out the compass was messed up. I purchased this and it works great. Easy enough to dismantle drone to replace cable!

It all came as described, I recommend are responsible,Safe & Secure works and is of excellent quality, original DJI works perfect to reform its phantom 2

The design on this compass is far superior than on the original that came with the Phantom, now I have some serious disassembly to engage in order to replace this part, and no doubt will have to replace the other leg for them to match... I'm also looking to purchase the tall landing legs when I attach the gimbal and Gopro, how do I attach this compass on to the taller legs?

Not sure if it made my Phantom 2 safer to add the updated compass, but I sleep better at night for the great price.

The cord for the compass is WAY too short to make the connection. It is literally HALF the size of the original ribbon cable. Now my phantom is in 15 pieces and I have no compass.

Works great with my Phantom P2 Vision (non plus).Easy installation, just take your time & do your research on removal & install.
