Awesome upgrade over the standard remote. Having to hook the phone to the original controller is a pain and then DJI removed the app from the android store so this was pretty much the only option. It's so much easier to pair the remote to the drone and not have to deal with the phone.

Paired up with no issues. Screen is nice and bright even the daytime. Got a third more distance than the original controller with absolutely no pixelation in a city environment. Battery life is slightly less. Does feel good in the hands.

My Mini 3 Pro came with the RC-N1 controller. I'd seen many DJI drone related YouTube video reviews that mention the pros and cons of the this controller vs. the RC-N1. They were spot on with their comments. The DJI RC is not the powerhouse android device that my smartphone is, so the FLY app is a little sluggish and laggy by comparison. But, the convenience of having the build in screen more than out-weights this slight performance deficiency. My smartphone screen is a little brighter than the DJI RC's screen, except when my smartphone overheats and dims the screen. That happened often using my RC-N1 in the hot Virginia summers. So far, my DJI RC has never overheated and it's nice to just keep my phone in my pocket. When I upgrade to a newer drone in the future, I will definitely pay extra for the RC version with a built in screen.

Very useful , it's a nice expierence to fly my drone with controller, I love that I don't have to use my phone to fly my drone, the Ãtem is in perfect condition.

Initially, I thought using my phone and the other controller would be 'good enough' but I found I just never flew my drone. I added this piece and my learning curve just got a lot easier and I'm flying it like crazy. I was really happy that it was such a great product at a fair price. This makes using a drone so much easier!

Dont know why there are bad reviews. It works great. Comes with the thumb sticks stored on the bottom.of the remote. Came with a USB c cable which 99 percent of people have anyways.

I absolutely love the built in screen, I got a matte protector to elevate reflectiveness, and a cover to block the suns glare and it now has the potential to be perfect but...... the range is SO UNDERWHELMING! exact location weather and height and it starts to lose signal at 30% of the distance of the rcn1 that came with my mini3..
