I have a dual 27 inch monitor setup. On each side I have some bookshelf speakers. This doesn't leave much space on my desk for my actual PC. Then I found the perfect spot, I could hide my PC behind my monitors. Slide it back there and you can't see it at all. Only problem, it became a pain to turn on my PC since the power button was so far away. Have no fear, "DKE PC Power Button" to the rescue.Connection was easy. The unit comes with a Y splitter so you can still use the case's power button if needed but I haven't had to touch my PC since getting the remote power button. I have it sitting on my desk, under one of the monitors. Easy access but just far enough away so I don't accidently hit the button.Love it. I am going to build all my future PCs with this remote button in mind.

I got this so that I could have my PC placed away from my desk but still be able to turn it on directly from my desk. It works well when installed into the PC and has a built in LED to show you when your PC is on. The design is sleek and looks great on my desk. I do wish that the LED was a little dimmer and didn't blink when the PC was asleep. Altogether this is a great buy!

My PC case has the power button on top and my cat kept jumping on top of it and hitting the button. I didn't even know swapping out the switch like this was an option until I searched. I unplugged the old tiny plugs on the motherboard and installed this new one. Be careful of the labeling when installing the plugs. Now I have the power switch hidden where the cat can't get to it but I can easily get to it!

Pulled out the old broken button and replaced it with the new one. Ran the wire thru a small hole I drilled in the case and glued the button where I wanted it to be instead of where the manufacturer had it. Much better. Good purchase. Zero problems

This has been daily used for three months now and it is working great. I mounted my pc under my sit stand desk and wanted a simple way to turn my computer on and off and it looks great too. There is plenty of length to place this button anywhere on your desk and it is priced affordably. Install is not for the feint of mind. If opening your PC, finding my your mother board and mounting on small sometimes hard to reach pins sounds intimidating, you may want to have somebody with pc building experience install it. I also got a pin splitter to keep the factory button functional so maybe look into buying that as well.
