Long sharp darners run in a double size range, cotton darners in the lower like embroidery needles and yarn darners is the upper like chenille and tapestry needles. Allows multiple strands of some threads to slip through more easily. Needle sizes vary slightly, due to a difference in the eye shape. Ideally suited to running-stitch and darning stitch embroideries. Available in size 14/18 with comes in pack of 7 needle.

I have had a hard time finding needles for tying quilts, these are prefect. They are sharp and have the big eye for the yarn.

only came with 5 needles vs 7 advertised. packaging is different. looks like all sizes are here even though package was partially open prob from failed glue at mfr. does not look like a fake. they are quite sharp round tip and have a good eye design. they should be able to do heavy needlework but nothing special about them. 8" ginger sicssors for scale.

I needed some larger needles for my crochet projects and these fit the bill. The have nice large eyes and are sturdy.
