The Extra Large DMC Aida Cloth is perfect for doing large embroidering projects. I was struggling to find a piece of aida cloth that was large enough for a project that I wanted to do, but couldn't seem to find any that were long enough. This cloth turned out to be the ideal size for my project, with maybe even a little excess.The only downfall that I could find in the fabric is that it is very, very stiff when it is first being used. I tried to place an embroidering hoop on the cloth and I had to struggle very hard to get the hoop to close around it. (I have since changed to a Q-Snap frame, and had I started with this type of frame I may not have had as much trouble.) When the hoop was finally on I enjoyed the tauntness of the fabric as I was stitching, as long as a didn't have to try to re-adjust the hoop. I have noticed that a lot of this stiffness has worked its way out as the project has progressed, so it is now about the same stiffness as a normal piece of aida cloth.

This product was listed as soft and flexible - it is NOT! Very stiff and difficult to work with.
