It is nice to have portable power for really long shoots. I have found that this AC Adapter works very well for long shoots,, so I bought this adapter. I plug the dummy battery into the camera and then into the AC adapter. I can now shoot for hours or all day.

I've only used it a few times. I purchased mainly to use for extended stationary video shoots. The lcd screen that displays voltage readings is nice. So far so good

This is a no brainer if you do any type of live streaming and dint want the headache of your battery dying midstream. This dummy battery works flawlessly with my S5ii. One if the best lurchases I have bought for my S5ii and S5

For long shoots, this is a great alternative to going through batteries. HOWEVER, the DC coupler is not compatible with other inexpensive DC extension cords. That little connecting hole is just a tiny bit too small to add an extender. However, we worked it around by purchasing a 10 ft 2 prong figure 8 power cord which works great.
