I have the Stove Pipe Protector piece to protect my pipe as it goes through my window insert in my cabin. I add this around the 2.36 iinch pipe protector and it adds extra heat protection where the pipe goes through my window insert. There's plenty of this wrapping, more than I need. It also helps fill in the gap of the hole I cut in my insert. It works, and I'm happy with it.

The rap was exactly what I thought but the two clamps we're actually better. They easily connected by hand and they're like butterfly wings to tighten.

I have a pellet stove exhaust pipe that needed to be wrapped to protect the surrounding surfaces from getting too hot. This works perfectly for my use.I can actually touch the cloth after hours of heat going through the pipe.Excellent product!

I actually used it to wrap stove pipe that was close to framing in my shop. It knocked the heat transfer down a lot.
