I recently purchased the DOCA camera pole, and I couldn’t be more impressed. This product is phenomenal in every sense of the word. The strength and durability of this pole are far beyond what I initially anticipated—it feels rock-solid, even in demanding conditions. The swivel adapter is brilliantly designed, making adjustments smooth and effortless while ensuring a secure hold once locked in place. It’s evident that a lot of thought went into making this pole both user-friendly and reliable. To address some of the negative reviews I’ve seen: Yes, I am a human being, and I truly believe some people need to understand their needs and the product they’re purchasing before leaving a review. This camera pole does exactly what it promises and more. If you’re looking for a top-tier, durable, and easy-to-use camera pole, this is it. It’s now an essential part of my gear, and I can’t recommend it enough.

This lightweight extendable pole is perfect for my inspections on roofs that are unsafe to walk on. I add my GoPro and to the top of the pole and my tablet at the bottom where I can see and hold the pole and presto I can view, can take pics and videos safely. The price is a value. The inspection companies that sell tools and equipment charge more than what this pole did. I did have to add at a separate purchase a tablet pole holder as I have a 12.2-inch tablet which is not a standard size. but it works great, sturdy, and compactable. the clamps for each extension are tough and sturdy. Well, it works for me and it also looks great. I didn't spend more than what a pole is really worth. if you know what I mean.

PRO:Been using for 2 years for roof inspections. Stout, well made. Easy to extend and retract once you ensure each clamp screw is adjusted properly (not to tight or to loose). Use thread lock or add lock washer to maintain screw adjustment.I clamped (not too tight) a tablet holder to the base section to control the camera via wifi connection.Works for me.CON:*The foam hand grip could be better but ok for my part-time usage. Still ok after 2 years* Last extension to 24ft can be wobbly depending on camera weight. Rest base on the ground for stability* A big informational sticker was stuck to the pole near the foam hand grip. You have a sticky mess to clean up if you remove the sticker. A printed cardboard sleeve would be much cheaper to manufacture and recyclable.

So far this adapter does what it says. It feels solid. I'd feel better if there was a second securing feature as a double back up to the set screw (which does prevent the adapter from twisting under normal torque). This review is also including the intended purpose of using the pole for extended camera shots.I got this to try out a small compact canon g5 mark ii on the long pole docapole. It worked pretty well. The pole itself gets a little wobbly around 20ft, but worked fine at 30' . It felt okay to hold it at an angle, but obviously the extra leverage does make the pole feel very heavy.I also worked up the courage to try a canon r5 with a 16-35mm f2.8 lens. I went to about 22ft straight up and down before the wobbling started to worry me. I don't think the adapter would break but the pole itself seemed like it could fall apart or bend and snap if the angle got off from being straight up and down for too long. I recommend getting a holder to attach to the pole bottom for your phone or whatever you use to control the camera.I don't think I'd ever be fully comfortable using the pole consistently with a larger camera and lens, but for a few shots here or there I think it's worth the risk. I'm confident it would work fine with any smaller camera.

This is my 3rd pole. It has changed since I ordered my first and second ones. It works more smoothly while extending and retracting. Seems to have had an upgrade in pole material. However, one note, I have had one problem consistently - the joints that allow extension often "freeze up" making it hard to extend at that joint. I carry the correct size/shape allen wrench tool so I can adjust the tightness at that joint. Last - the only real disappointment from time to time is the handles used to open and close the joint often breakoff.

The longer you extend the pole, compare to weight, it's not productive for small/Med size people. I needed a camera pole. Glad I was able to hold the pole because it isn't light. Strong built. Just not what I thought it would be. Needs to be lighter.

There was a cheaper version available from another seller but I paid quite a bit more for this one ONLY because it had a set screw to secure the adapter on the pole The set screw is tiny and it does absolutely NOTHING to secure the adapter on the pole so I wasted my money and should have just got the cheaper one.
