What Is It?
The Koala Tablet Wall Mount is the perfect combination of aesthetics, functionality, and affordability in a damage-free tablet mounting system. Perfect for storing, charging, and viewing your device in the kitchen, bedroom, gym, bathroom, office, or anywhere else around your home, apartment, dorm, or office.
How does it work? The Koala Mount consists of two small, sturdy plastic brackets that gently cradle your device. Designed to be used with 3M Command Strips (included) which provide a truly hassle-free mounting experience. The strips are rated to hold up to 5 lbs each (far more than any tablet) if set up properly and on the correct surfaces. To remove, the strips can simply be stretched off without damaging your wall/surface.
Universal Compatibility
The use of two sturdy, independent plastic brackets means its width conforms to your needs. Whether mounting in portrait or landscape mode our mount will match the width you need. Any tablet/case combination that is 11 mm thick or less will fit into the Koala Mount. If your device (with or without a case) is thicker than 11 mm, see our Koala Mount 2.0.
Simple Setup and Damage-free Removal
Attaches with 3M Command Adhesive Strips, so no screws and no damage to your wall/mounting surface. They can be moved from one location to another (new strips required if removing). Setup and removal is simple and takes minutes, with no tools required.
IMPORTANT: Not intended for areas exposed to heat or moisture (like a bathroom with a shower/bathtub), there are special Water/Heat Resistant Strips for that. They're also not designed to work on textured surfaces or wallpapers.

No Fallen Cords; Hidden Command Tabs
Built-In clips keep your cord off the floor and conveniently hold your cord in place when you're ready to use it again.
The Koala Mount was specifically designed with a slot at the top to conveniently hide the Command Strip tab (the rounded end that doesn't have adhesive on it). Tuck it into the slot and it's completely hidden until you need it. Easily fish it out when the time comes.
No Covered Buttons
Precise cut-outs ensure full functionality on most devices. You'll be able to charge, power up, and adjust the volume of your device all while in the mount.
Note: While it does fit most popular tablets, the bracket supports can block ports/buttons on either side between 1.5 - 2.75 inches up from the bottom (7-8" tablets, like the iPad Mini may have blocked ports in landscape mode - see our Koala Mount 2.0 if this may be an issue).

For some reason when I read the description, I was not exactly sure how this worked. I was really just trying to find a product that would hold my Galaxy tab on a wall. I ordered this because of the reviews, and when it came I was surprised at how small the box was? I was envisioning a one piece unit that slid apart and back together to adjust for width.This unit comes as two small plastic "U" shaped type pieces. It also came with the two adhesive pieces and one alcohol swab. Installation could not be much easier. You clean the wall with the swab. Then you peel the paper from one side of one of the adhesive pieces and attach that to the plastic U. Attach the plastic to the wall. Repeat with the other plastic piece. This allows you to set the width to whatever you need for your tablet. You can probably eyeball the brackets to ensure they are level, but I actually used a small level.I love that you can access all the controls while the tablet is in the bracket, and also can plug in a power cord.I love items that are simple, and do the desired task well. This fits that. It is about as simple as it can be, and holds the tablet perfectly. No regrets.

We used this for our tablet. It's hard plastic and it comes with command strips to mount it. I suggest getting the Velcro command strips just so you can move it around and so you do not make it snug on your tablet.

We are incredibly happy with this tablet wall mount. We use our iPad as a baby video monitor, but when our toddler is awake and in the room, he wants to "play" with the iPad, and he's not quite old enough for that yet! We were able to get it off of the table and put it up on the wall and out of his reach easily. Installation literally took a minute, and I love that I didn't have to permanently damage the wall with screws to install it. The Command strips are secure and has no problem holding our iPad, which slides in and out easily when we want to take it with us. When the iPad is in the mount, the black blends in so nicely with the bezel that you barely notice it. Overall I'm impressed, no complaints. We might get a few more of these and set up "stations" around the house.

Perfect solution for mounting my iPad on a kitchen cabinet to view recipes while cooking. Easy to install. It comes with two brackets and a version of the 3M Command strips. Takes about 5 minutes to install. They make a big deal about waiting for the adhesive to bond and recommend hanging two plastic bags loaded with 5 lbs each overnight on the brackets before using. I get they are protecting themselves, but I found the brackets were fully adhered after about 30 minutes. I was placing on wood, so perhaps a different surface may need additional time. One piece of advice when mounting is make sure you do the measuring set up with you device in it's case if you intend to leave it in the case when using the bracket. Also don't go for too snug a fit.After using this for a couple of months I replaced my ipad with a newer version which was smaller so had to remove and replace the brackets. It was easy with the Command strips. Just remember to save the extras that come with it.

I had a hard time holding my device (iPad) in the Dockem and checking the level. My device kept slipping. Otherwise it’s really easy to mount with the 3M tape. You slide the rounded end into the slot at the top of the Dockem and then peel the protective film off and bend the tape down over the back side to stick to wall. Careful. You only get 2 tapes. Make sure you space your Dockems correctly to hold your device. Not too close and not too wide.

This is one of those ideas that makes you wonder why didn't I think of this? It is so simple and yet effective. The mount works very well and using the included 3M strips holds well to most surfaces. They have a good section on their website describing how to test it (and you get this link with the kit). However the price is way too high for what you are getting. Most 3M strips sell for around $5. This thing is 3 times that. It is really only two little pieces of plastic and 2 3M strips that act as glue. $7.50 would be a much more reasonable price.

After reading reviews on this type of mount, this one was the winner. The reasons why are a) it came in black(chrome too if you are into that sort of thing), b) it's study, and lastly c) it fits many types of tablets.A fellow reviewer did mention that instead of the 3M tape that comes with it for mounting to use 3M 03614 Scotch-Mount 1/2" x 15' Molding Tape . I took that advice and fully agree with that person's statement. The 3M that comes stock looks light and cheap. You could probably clock how long until the unit falls to the ground with an egg timer. Just guessing of course but I feel much more comfortable with the molding tape instead.Good item, get the molding tape, game on.

This is my second purchase of this item and it works just as well as the first one. I am using it with a couple older Samsung tablets as kiosks for my home automation dashboards and while a bit loose and needing something ( I used foam) behind it to push the tablet forward it holds them reasonably well.I have them mounted with screws so I cannot speak as to the quality of the adhesive tape.The product offers a good price / value , it is easy to install and does a decent job . I would recommend.

For some reason I was trying to find custom made sizes until I found this. It is easy to mount, discrete and works well with various sizes.Especially with black tablets you can barely tell it is there. The final finish is very flush with the wall.The channel inside tapers in so the device sits in there nice and snug.Recommended buy if you are trying to mount a tablet.
