Most laptops these days do not have enough USB and HDMI ports built into them. For example, if you have to remove a USB A mouse dongle just to insert a USB A thumb drive into your laptop, you know the problem. This hub solves that problem.Besides being a hub for USB A ports - two USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 - this is also an HDMI hub, with two HDMI connections. So, if you want to extend your laptop screen to monitors, this allows you to do it.The sixth and final connection port on this hub is USB C. So, when you take up a USB C port on your laptop to connect this hub, you won't actuallly be losing that USB C slot availability on the laptop. It just gets extended through the hub.Slight nitpick: the cord sheath for the built-in cord bulges at the connection point to the hub. I noticed it immediately upon opening, and while it might not turn into a future problem, the slightly inferior fit and finish makes me wonder about quality control. For now, though, everything is good.

This is a nice and compact docking station. It works and the picture quality connecting my laptop to two monitors was better than my existing docking station. The charging works and it’s really nice to have the extra USB ports. The reason I docked this a star is because I really wish the cord that connects this to your laptop or computer was longer. With such a short cord, it’s a mess. This docking station ends up close to my laptop and with all the extra cords going into it. It would have been nice to just have one longer cord that comes out to plug into my laptop with the rest of the cords tucked away. Unfortunately, that’s not possible with such a short cord connecting the docking station to my laptop. I think better use scenarios for this would be for traveling (because it’s so compact) or for a desktop (because you can keep it plugged in and tucked away).

With my daughter moving out I am finally able to have a home office. I started with USB C Adapter with Dual HDMI and it works well, but I really dislike the bulk. And then I need to plug in a keyboard and a mouse, printer, head phones and flash drive. This works perfectly. Mouse and Flash Drive get plugged in the laptop, everything else is plugged into the docking station. Quick connect and disconnect. My only complaint is that it would be nice to have a fourth USB.Good value for the money.

This docking station is a great solution for expanding connectivity, especially for setting up dual HDMI monitors on a Windows laptop. The setup is straightforward, and the video output is clear with no noticeable lag or flickering. The additional USB ports are convenient for connecting peripherals, and the power delivery (PD) support ensures efficient charging while using the hub. It works well with my devices, making multitasking and productivity much smoother. A solid and compact docking station for those needing extra ports and a dual-display setup.

I planned to use this hub to send video from a smart phone to a TV. Though it worked, it was spotty (would cycle on and off). I also had plans to use it to connect USB thumb drives. I think the main challenge has been getting sufficient power to the hub in order to perform the desired tasks. Because there was no 120V AC power converter or cable included, I'll have to get one separately to test properly. The ports (both USB and HDMI) connect very solidly. The fact that it's small made it a great portable solution to quickly connect to a TV to share video or photos. It's a good design, but without the power supply it isn't functioning as I need it to. If I can test with a suitable power source, I'll update the review.

My laptop comes with just two usb-a ports, one usb-c port and one hdmi port. This usb hub was perfect as it added three more usb-a, added one usb-c in order to maintain the one usb-c (since the input is using usb-c) on the laptop, and added two more hdmi. It is plug and play as Windows auto recognizes it when you plug it in and it doesn’t require an additional power source. This definitely solves a lot of problems on what peripherals I can use. Now I can use them all!

This HDMI splitter (I'm calling this docking station a splitter) is four inches long. Its cord is about 8 inches, not including the length of the plug. When I plugged this splitter into my Lenovo laptop's type-C port, Windows 11 instantly recognized this new peripheral device. This splitter has various types of ports, but I'm only interested in its USB ports. It has three USB ports, -- two 2.0 and one 3.0.I wish all the ports were USB, but I can understand that some buyers want other outlets. What I don't understand is that not all three USB ports are 3.0, because 3.0 is backward compatible with 2.0, so why not make all three ports the faster 3.0?Yet curiously, I've not noticed any difference in speed between this splitter's 2.0 and 3.0 ports. I transferred a 1.90 GB MP4 file from my laptop's SSD onto an external HDD (and later, onto a USB flash drive) that was connected with this splitter, and both ports -- its 2.0 and 3.0 -- copied at about the same rate. This splitter is lightweight with a good transfer speed. When I connected my flash drive through this splitter's 3.0 port, the speed of transfer was a bit faster than when I connected the flash drive directly into my laptop's 3.0 port.

This docking station is terrific. It's well made and has a quality look and feel. All the ports work perfectly. I use it to keep my desk less cluttered with cords for my peripherals. It's easy to use, a simple plug in the side of my laptop and I can attach up to three USBs, a C and two HDMIs. It's a great tool to have and is easily portable.
