It’s waterproof, but it’s crinkly and stiff. I do like that it has a non-slip back. Also, the description states that it is 52x82 inch, however it actually measures 28x70 inches. It’s barely enough to cover a small part of my bed. Glad I only paid $5 for it.

I just put this on my bed,My cats like to lay on it.I’d rather they lay on this than on my beddingI spilled water on it and it’s water proof I bought beige, dark colors show hairIM DISAPPOINTED IT SLIDES OFF BED!Even though it isn’t supposed to, I guess I’m returning it

Seems to work fine but rubber backing is stiff and will not lay flat.

I bought two of these, a gray and a beige/tan one. So far, only the beige one is in use on my bed.I have four small dogs who love to come up on my bed for snuggles. And, this coverlet allows me to indulge them all four at one time. Of course, the cover will slide around a bit, as the waterproof backing does not cling to the bed linens beneath. So I tuck the very long length into the foot of my bed frame to stabilize it. But even with one end tucked, there is enough length to cover my pillows as well. It sure makes them happy to interact with me in my personal space, before I crate them for the night. And, picking them up from there is a lot simpler than trying to convince them to willingly enter the crate on their own volition.The thickness is perfect, the stitching has an attractive design, as it is not thread but heat sealed to the bottom layers...thus my pups' claws do not catch in and threads. Then the cover is comfy for me to plot down on it to read or type on my iPad as I am doing at this moment.If you have larger dogs, able to jump on any piece of furniture at will, undoubtedly they covet bed privileges. Even if trained to stay OFF your bed, this makes it possible to allow your pets access. And I have an idea it could work at the beach with the waterproof backing to prevent sand clinging to it. Very functional, and quite attractive with its quilted pattern. Check it out.

The features of waterproof and quality is exactly what they described. I got it for a good price and so this is a good deal for me.
