These are easy to use adjustable bowls! They do not come with a manual of how to assemble them but it is pretty easy to figure out. They seem durable and fit well. This has made it so my dog no longer spills his water which is really nice.

My 13 pound Chihuahua mix was able to destroy these the first day used. Came home to discover she had easily broke the rings off the clamp. The rings hold the bowl, useless without. As seen in images, they are poorly welded together. Will request refund.

I bought this for my saint bernard puppy litter. I was a little leary because saint bernard are big, heavy dogs and I wasn't sure if these would hold up to puppies climbing on them. They did! They are strong, sturdy bowls. One is big and one is small. We used them both as water dishes. They were super easy to install on the gate. They pop out of the holder for easy cleaning and they work well.

Our trainer recommended feeding and tossing treats to my rescue Boston-Pitt from his crate to help him adapt to crates being positive and not a negative experience. After much of his young life spent at a shelter I wanted him to not buck up and cry when I needed to run errands. These bowls have helped to accomplish this positive reinforcement in no time. In fact when it is breakfast or dinner time, he goes in the crates and waits for me to bring back his full bowls. He enjoys his peanut butter treats in here and not once has he tried to bring the messy treat outside of his crate.The reason I gave it four stars is because I do wish it was a bit more sturdy for larger breeds. There is no bottom support so he can easily flip the bowl out of the holder. I am not sure how or why he does this because it’s only happened a few times while I’m away from home. Also, occasionally I have to tighten the screws because he does like to lock the bottom of the bowl and it seems the washers on the screws loosen over time. I really do like how you can adjust the height to your dog’s height.

We crate our dogs at bed time or when we're away for awhile. We use a set of these to make sure our pups have water all of the time. We also feed our dogs in their crates and these work great as one of the dogs wants all of the food. So we feed them in the crates with the doors shut so each dog gets their own portion of food every day. The work great.

I'm using these just and food and water bowls on a floor mat for a small dog. I hand wash them every day in hot soapy water and they go into the dishwasher at least once a week. So far they have held up well to daily washing and use. Easy to clean, everything wipes right out and rinsing them daily with scalding water before refilling gets them pretty darn clean and sanitary for daily use. I do sanitize them in the dishwasher at least weekly because you have to keep those doggy bowls clean! No more plastic bowls for me, even if they are marketed for pups. I don't use the rings for a kennel so I can't speak to that but so far the finish has not scratched or worn off. They are very lightweight - if that's a factor for you and you're putting them on the floor without the kennel rings, just be aware they they are not heavy. The shape doesn't lend itself to tipping but they are light enough to be pushed around by a bigger dog than mine.

Good for dogs which do not jump, paw or otherwise engage. Needed reinforcement for regular kennel. Water is too heavy and it will sag and dribble everywhere.

Do not put in the dishwasher... The black part will come off (occurred after about 20 washes or so) - Apart from that issue the bowls work as expected... Just recommend hand cleaning only... not sure if that was listed on any paperwork received with the bowls... Took some work but we did get the black lining off the bowles and now have stainless steel bowls instead of black ones. No longer matches the crate i use them in but still functional.
