We love our fur babies very much, & unfortunately our 13yr old chihuahua Hugo is slowing down drastically. He also has arthritis due to a badly healed broken leg he obtained prior to adopting him from our local shelter. We live on the edge of a park with a walking track, which is where Hugo & I have spent many hours. But recently I’ve noticed him tiring out quickly, & instead of finishing our walk I’ve ended up returning him home. But then I began looking for a way to still take Hugo on our walks, keep him safe & comfortable, as well not cause myself any additional back or neck issues. That’s where this pet carrier has come into play, & I am so happy to have found it! The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was how well constructed it is. The design is fabulous allowing me to carry Hugo either on my front or back. He weighs around 17lbs, & fits perfectly. I was very pleased to see him sit back & relax, but be aware it did take a bit of adjusting & a few minutes for this to occur. Now he gets super excited the minute I take it out as he knows it’s park time! This carrier goes out of its way to provide as much possible comfort for those carrying their pets including padded adjustable ergonomic shoulder straps. An additional strap across the chest & waist provides additional support as well. The inside of the bag has 2-safety buckles, a small hook to attach to his leash, a drawstring top area & a side window enabling Hugo to sit back safely & enjoy his ride. Also included is a zippered side pocket for treats, or his potty bags, a large snap closure front pocket, & a zippered pocket on the back. I could not be happier discovering this awesome carrier bag for my Hugo, & even his kitty sister gave it a try. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone who has an aging pet who still wants to include them in their walks, or to anyone who’d just like to carry their favorite pet safely.

I really liked it but it was too big for my 4lb poodle. It would be great if my dog was a little bigger.

Our dogs were initially suspicious, but one dog laid down and was immovable within seconds of being placed in the carrier. So mixed reviews from the dogs, 7lbs toy poodle who loved it, and 10lbs super-senior chi-mix (needs convincing).-The mesh netting with the toggle adjust is a nice touch but too cumbersome for us. I understand it's a safety feature to keep the animal inside if you bend over straight 90 degrees (who even bends over like that?). But I plan to cut that part out of the bag entirely. I don't want our dogs nails to get caught in the mesh.-The straps and buckles and various methods of securing the bag to your body are great. Several adjustable options for different human body shapes and varied k-9 preferences.-The straps all have a small piece of elastic to keep the extra strap length from catching or wrapping around something. This is a small, maybe insignificant feature to some, but I think it's incredibly well thought out and appreciated.-The material feels tough without being scratchy or too rough.-The pocket on the back, or the belly of the bag, depending on how you wear it, is my favorite addition to 21st century backpacks lol.-The little zipper opening on the bottom to allow your pet's head to stick out if they lie down is just so cute. Good on you guys.-I think the current price point of about $38 is a bit steep in my opinion. I think $25-$30 max would be more appropriate.

There's no support for the dog to sit in so my chihuahua flops back and forth in it even with the restraints it has to hold her in place. It works better on your back, but with it being so unsupportive for the dog I would not personally want her to be carried like that. It's very difficult to wear in the front because of awkward straps, etc. I wouldn't recommend.

Flimsy and loose! I have a Toy Yorkie and it would not secure her.

I am very disappointed with this product. The design is very nice with big size of pockets, cute color and patted belt. However, the bottom cannot be kept level as shown in the picture. It depends on whether you have a bust or not, so I think that if the adjustment belt around the chest to keep the level could be pulled up from the bottom front, the level would be kept comfortable. Unfortunately it was completely useless for me and my dog.

This carrier works well for short trips, but it could use a bit more structure to keep its shape better. The straps are comfortable, and the waist and chest buckles help distribute the weight, making it easier to carry for longer periods. The mesh panels give good airflow, and my pet seems to enjoy the view through the side window. The storage pockets are a nice touch for carrying small essentials. It’s lightweight and folds down easily when not in use, but the bottom could be sturdier to prevent sagging when my pet is inside.
