If you have an older dog that has accidents in the house, this could be a great help.I can also see how it would be fantastic to use to train a new puppy or even a new shelter dog not used to inside living (please consider adopting or fostering a shelter dog from overcrowded shelters :) )For my use, my senior hound sleeps on a raised Kuranda bed & I thought that I had the problem solved by placing disposable pads underneath & a washable pad over the entire top of his bed bc I have totally given up on finding diapers that really hold anything for my big boy. (Over 100lbs)My boy loves to wad up pads.. yes, the disposable too, much to the chagrin of my wallet.I don’t know if he does it just to lay on them for a sec or what as I wake up every day to him having kicked the pad off the bed & sometimes moved the disposablesThis product is perfect bc it’s big enough to cover under his bed for any accidents bc Kuranda beds are fine mesh that allows it to drip through (in case anyone running out of ideas & needs suggestions)He loves his bed as takes pressure off joints. This product allows me to place under his bed & because it comes with an extra grass & pad (which is great at this price point), I can sit those beside his bed (the extras won’t have the black “pan” underneath but the pad underneath catches the urine. He’s not used it yet but I once caught him stretching off his bed to pee on the floor next to it so I’m ready now, thanks to this productYou can easily wash the pads & then hose off the “grass”I’m so excited to find this. I knew “grass” Was sold for like apartment balconies etc as a friend had that & I didn’t like to walk on his several stories up balcony bc it just didn’t seem “sanitary”He could switch to this product which is big enough to be a small dog’s outside dream & really save himself struggles on cleaning up & make things a lot more sanitaryYou know I’m going to suggest it.I love this & would absolutely order again & recommendHere’s to saving money on a seemingly endless supply of baking soda , peroxide & floor cleaner with enzymesThank you 🙏🏻💜

This is a nice set up. We got it just in time for another deep freeze and winter weather advisory with snow. She won't go outside while it's snowing. After several trips with her getting more anxious yet refusing to go, I grabbed the grass pad and took it and her outside, threw the grass pad on the snow, and she finally relieved herself on the grass pad. I can attest the urine runs right through it. I put it the grass piece back on the peed pad without rinsing it, hoping the urine scent would clue her in that this one spot is ok when she can't hold it. So far, no such luck, though she does like to come inside and sit on the grass pad while waiting for me to unclip her leash, and it does help to wipe her feet some. I like that I'll be able to fold it up and store it away when warmer weather comes and my dog is more willing to go outside. The grass looks nice, the whole set up looks nice, so I don't mind having this set up. My pup is just a little over 10 pounds. I didn't think I needed the larger size, but it's just right. It allows her room to circle around and she's less likely to get too close to the edge and miss. I suggest going larger, especially if your dog is borderline on which size to get. Get the larger size.

This is not big enough for large dogs. My GSD is in training for service and I was told he needed a place to practice that wasn't an outdoors place. So I got this. He's over 80 lbs and can't really fit. I guess that works for training purposes because airports don't always have the best service animal relief areas. But for review purposes I need to go by product claims. This is better for medium to small pups. For that I took a star. Great idea to make it washable. Saves money. I'd just say to get a detergent for animal smell.NOW FOR MY DISCLAIMER:I am an approved Amazon Vine Member. We are provided the opportunity to order (free of charge). I live on the Atlantic Coast of Central Florida. Fortunately, during hurricane season we’re usually spared of direct hits, but they do happen. And when they do, or even if it’s close but not a direct hit, we can see very prolonged periods of heavy rain. And my dachshund WILL NOT go out int the rain. Fortunately, since I’ve had him, it’s been several hours of rain with some breaks in between for the few storms we’ve experienced. But needless to say, I’ve worried about what to do if it happens. People have suggested one of the small plastic kiddy pools and put some sod in it. Not a bad idea, but I live in a condo, and have not place to store such a thing. And then there’s the issue of finding sod while prepping for the storm. But then I saw this. Okay, I can’t vouch for its efficacy yet, but it appears that it would to the job. I unwrapped it, and see that it appears to be sturdy enough. With two pieces of “grass” and tow absorption pads, I think I’ve found the answer. I know when he was using pee pads before he was house broke, that it didn’t take long before it was time for a new pad. This looks like it can take a lot more use before needing to change the pad. And, although I haven’t found any directions, it does appear the pads are washable, so that is a plus.If you’re looking for something to use for your pet in bad weather, this just might be it.
