So I just got this and today I decided to try it out . I let her see it and smell it . She was a little scared at first but she calmed down fast and when I got done with one paw I asked her for her paw she gave it to me then laid down while I trimmed . I also did round her paws . She a mini American shepherd . I would recommend this to anyone . This is the best thing I got to do her paws no more scissors .

This trimmer is not worth the cost. The light on it sounded like a good idea to see those hard to see places like the paws. It did not work out that way.You cannot choose to have the light off. It automatically comes on with the trimmer. One of my dogs tends to try to play with lights so the struggle of trying to use it in her ways annoying at best.I do not trust it on the face of any of my dogs. The light is BRIGHT. I don't want it shining in their eyes.That basically leaves this as ok for behind the ears. It is not being enough, strong enough, or safe enough to use anywhere else. I recommend buying something with more options. And make sure any lights are optional or do not get a light.

I have a yorkie, this trimmer works well on her nose as well as between her pads on her feet.

Great little tool. I wish I would have found this years ago as I’ve been using scissors to cut my dogs paw fur!

This paw trimmer is small. It makes for easy use, especially around a small paw. It’s easy to hold in the hand and work into different angles.Unfortunately, it doesn’t have enough power and the blades are not sharp enough to do a very good job. It takes a long time to cut the fur. To me, I find it to be very inefficient. I will say that during operation it’s quiet so even the more fearful pets should be less intimidated by it. However, the fact that it does take longer is absolutely a con in this case. I personally cannot justify how long it takes to cut hair around the paw area. This isn’t a very well-made tool.

my dog always needs hair trimmed between toes and needs hair trimmed on her hind quarters. This trimmer was quiet, quick, and did not bother her at all - for the first time. Great trimmer and recommend
