I’m really pleased with this. It’s exactly the right length, doesn’t tangle, and is strong enough that my dog is disinterested in chewing on it. There’s a nice locking feature, but I rarely use it. We have coyotes here, so I’m always with her when she’s out. All in all, a real success! Recommended.

We bought this 2.5 months ago for our 120lb Great Pyrenees who doesn't really like to pull against her chain but will occasionally lunge on it. Shielding failed after the first month or so in several places. Cable finally snapped after 2 months while dog tried to come into the house. Would recommend for smaller dogs under 50lb.

I let my 45lbs dog out on this thing twice and on the second time it broke. Not impressed and was a waste of money.

I have a 65 pound dog. He’s broken several cords (and will dig a hole to escape a fence) so I needed something strong and durable. That can be outside in the rain or cold. It’s been great so far. It’s easy to use. Not too heavy. And more importantly, hasn’t snapped!
