It took some intuition to put this together as the instructions that came with it were only pictures of people putting it together, nothing was labeled or detailed. I did manage to put the whole thing together by myself, so you’ll probably figure it out.It also comes with absolutely no instructions on how to introduce your dog to it. I put my first dog on it and it moved instantly since there’s no way to lock the treads. He freaked out and started panic-running and got so scared he won’t go anywhere near it now. So I would sit on it or wedge something at the end before the first time so it doesn’t move until they are firmly still on it and harnessed in.My other dog had an easier time once I figured out how to keep it still on my own. He won’t run on it yet but he will walk with encouragement.Beside no locking mechanism, my biggest problem is the placement of the harness bar. It should be more toward the middle, as when they’re first starting out they’ll keep trying to back up and their paws go off the back end which freaks them out. I’m going to try taking the bars off and flipping them around backwards, this might solve the issue.Overall I’m not sure it’s worth the money I spent, but I’ll give it some more time. It weighs as much as a person, even the Prime delivery guy needed help bringing it to my door. Having to return it would be a massive pain.

I was reading about slatmills and was very intrigued by the concept. I live Las Vegas, NV and the heat can get crazy. We reach above 110 consistently in the summer and my poor dogs need exercise. I have an Alaskan Malamute and a German Shepard. The AM is still getting used to it but my GSD loves it! We don’t run them for longer than 30 min a day and that’s enough for them to get a good workout. I’m so glad we bought this. Set up was easy and the bottoms have covers on them so they don’t tear up my floors. Great investment!!

As a trainer, I purchased this dog treadmill with high hopes of providing my clients' dogs with a safe exercise solution. Unfortunately, my experience with this product has been nothing short of a disaster!!!First, upon receiving the treadmill, I was shocked to find it arrived damaged, with broken wood, missing parts, and wood shavings scattered all over. Assembly was a nightmare without any instructions or safety guidelines.A couple of days in, one of my clients' dogs got hurt, leading to severe bleeding and a trip to the vet. The treadmill's design played a significant role in this accident, and I'm deeply concerned about its safety. Plus the most alarming issue is there is NO form of braking or stopping mechanism on the treadmill.I strongly advise against purchasing this treadmill unless you're willing to take a significant risk for your furry friends' safety or a big fat vet bill.

I usually never reviews, but I want to help any fellow dog owners out as much as I can. The delivery was fine. As expected. It sis come with instructions, but it's not exactly detailed. Assembly isn't complex, but if you follow along with the video you should be fine. I had some holes that I could line up exactly, but since I assembled it alone, that probably didn't help matters. My dogs seem to like it so far. The track may need to be greased or something though so that it takes them less effort to get it moving off the start. I have a 45lbs Belgian Mal, 20lbs Australian Cattledog, and a 17lbs Chihuahua/Poodle

Built pretty good! However no instructions or directions on how to assemble. Box that was delivered looked like it had been to Hell and Back! I took all pieces out and took my time to keep looking at picture from Amazon online and figured out how everything went together.It has no break so I had to cut 2 pieces of pipe to stop the treadmill from rolling, as you need to introduce your dog to this slowly or it will scare them and freak them out. Wish it had a break you could set to control the speed.Also I am coating the top of the wood slats withA waterproof sealant to add grip and a non slip surface nothing harsh just feel it needs it to help dogs get footing and keep slats preserved.Do Not allow dogs on without a Harness!!Also make sure you center dog on this to close to front and small chance of pinching paws with slats as the turn - again I’m just being overly cautious and also adding pool noodlesFoam between metal sides and treadmill as dogs paws can get caught off of the sides and pinch paws and or legs. Slowly introduce your dog to this and in time it works very well.
