This is a very nice quality slatmill for the dogs. It's built extremely well. The directions however do not match how to assemble it. We were able to get it assembled though just fine with the two of us. Cons- The break does not fully keep it from moving when it's on. Just slows it a tiny bit. My dog went to jump on it with the break on fully and it started to move on him. He acted as though he was on sheer ice. It terrified me as he was Sliding to the sides and trying to lean against the sidewall. Sliding to the side by the track can easily cause bad injuries to his paws. The track is unbelievably slick especiallywhen it starts moving. My dog doesn't get any traction what so ever. Is there a way to fix this some how? We are unable to use this currently how it is. If the track and break worked as it should then I think this would be amazing. Unfortunately we will be looking for some kind of solution. The weight of this is probably easily 100lbs. I couldn't get it in the house alone. I'll update if I find a solution. I'll be contacting the company. Very disappointed at the moment.If the brake and track were on point this would easily be a 5 star machine and would be a great purchase/ value. But it's not functional.Update. Contacted the company who is very responsive. They are sending a new brake part to be installed as they think my system was not working properly. Waiting on it to arrive. Updates to come. Fingers crossed it works! It really is very well built. And isn't very noisy when track moves.
