About this item

  • REGULATION SIZE: Regulation size (18” long coiled shape shifting tube with 24” double-ended openings -- AKC and NADAC compliant) dog tube modeled after those found in courses at sanctioned dog events. Recommended for small to mid-sized dogs weighing up to 80-90 pounds (casual use only).
  • DURABLE MATERIAL: This agility dog training tunnel is lined with a covering made from lightweight yet surprisingly durable 600D woven Oxford Dacron. Included in the set are 8-10 anti-rust zinc plated 7” stakes that insert through the metal grommet tabs around the base of the tunnel. The downward angled tops of the stakes are designed to not protrude out of the ground so they don’t cause harm to your dogs while they play.
  • ENDLESS EXERCISE: A tremendous resource for sharpening your dog’s obedience, quickness, dexterity, and overall quality of life. Use our dog tubes and tunnels for casual play, exercise, and introductory training.
  • PORTABLE: Arrives in a circular carrying case with dual nylon black handles at the top for effortless transport. Once removed from the case, it instantly expands to full length like a pop out tent. Quickly collapses and folds back together when you are finished. Set it up inside the home, outside, at your favorite beach, and much more.
  • EASY FUN AFTER A RUFF DAY: Sometimes dogging is ruff, and a pup just needs to run around to shed some stress. Our dog training tunnel is a quick and easy way to create dog backyard play equipment.

Almost 53% of dogs in the United States are overweight or obese, according to surveys conducted by the Association for Pet Obesity Prevention.

Approximately 25% of overweight dogs develop serious joint complications. And extra weight places extra demands on virtually all organs of the body. This leads to heart disease and increased blood pressure, difficulty breathing, decreased stamina, heart intolerance, decreased liver function, increased surgical and anesthetic risk, reproductive issues, digestive problems, decreased immune function, skin/fur coat problems, increased risk of cancer, and a decreased quality and length of life.

Humans are the main cause of dog obesity. Ultimately, you (the “owner”) are responsible for your dog’s wellbeing. This means regulating their caloric intake and use, seeking veterinary assistance in maintaining your dog’s optimal weight if needed. Another often-neglected factor that is every bit as essential as nutrition is adequate exercise. Dogs have tons of energy that needs to be burned off healthily on a daily basis. The amount of exercise your dog requires depends on the breed. Active breeds need a minimum of 30 mins of hard aerobic exercise daily. Adequate exercise uses both mental and physical muscles. Engaging your dog’s mind as well as its body is the key to helping your furry friend live the best life possible. A lack of exercise/neglect is a direct result of destructive behavior (we’re talking about the chewing, the digging, the barking). This sort of behavior causes too many people to give up on their dog. It’s a cruel, completely preventable cycle.

But this isn’t a guilt trip. We get it, life happens.

Sometimes you’re swamped with work, family, obligations, and the like. Perhaps the weather is rotten -- blistering hot or freezing cold. No living thing should endure prolonged exposure to extreme weather environments. And when faced with such obstacles, taking a walk around the neighborhood or wrestling in the park isn’t necessarily doable. So then what? If only you had a tool, a seemingly ordinary item that possessed the capability of giving your pet unlimited exercise time. And if only that item was portable and capable of going anywhere. Ahem.

The dog tunnel is built well, very flexible and our pups love to run through it. I like the carry case so we can move it easily and set up is a cinch!

This item is sturdy and well made. Its the best friend and attention getter for my two Dachshunds who love to be physical and chew on items. Great for indoors or out doors. Has sewn tabs to put stakes in the ground outside (COMES WITH STAKES). As always they should be supervised at all times. Its a wire loop construction so it should be inspected at time to make sure wire does not protrude through the material. Easy storage ,(Comes with Storage Bag for travel).

I’m finally replacing this after 3 years. It’s been outdoors in the elements for more than a year and it’s finally succumbing to the weather & dogs.1. It works extremely well for the price for practicing at home.2. It’s not as dark inside as official tunnels. This is good to start puppies but it will be a change when they switch to a competition tunnel.3. It’s not really length adjustable — the fabric collapses to the interior making it appear more constricted. You can’t really use this to make a super short tunnel.4. It’s super light and easy to pack - fits easily tucked away in a closet, garage, or shed.5. Because it’s light it moves with wind. If you don’t have tunnel bags use the sandbags from your pop up tent or filled milk or 2L bottles to help stabilize it.6. If you can’t afford a competition tunnel, or want a portable option, this is a very workable solution. If you train often, want to leave it outside in the elements, it’s worth investing in a real competition tunnel.

This agility tunnel is fine for home use but it is nowhere as durable as the one that are used in classes and competition events. We bought ours in January, 2019 and had it outside most of the time. It lasted about 10 months (in southern California), which is about as long as I expected. I have a 18 pound aussie-doodle that runs through it 5-10 times most every day. After about 8 months tears began to appear along the top and the hold-downs began to tear. I'm tossing it today but will order another one. Ten months of constant use is fine with me for the price.

I bought this tunnel to start training my 4 month old Aussie about agility. He loves it! His first trip through was brought to a halt, due to a hapless grasshopper who had found his way into the tunnel. Since then he's been speedy Gonzales through the tunnel, although sometimes he prefers to jump on top of it and collapse it. It has survived well outside over about a month, though I know it will last longer if I care for it better, and bring it in when not in use. 18 feet is quite long enough to set up one or two curves, so I recommend it as a training device as well as a lot of fun for my Aussie puppy. It is well-made of some sort of plastic type material and looks exactly as photographed on-line. A great buy.

I work at a doggy playcare, the dogs love this tunnel! I've bought 2 within a few months apart but its worth it. We love watching the dogs play and be silly in it. The bad thing is it breaks after a few weeks due to having rough dogs and we sometimes have dogs shew on it but I 100% recommend , cuteness overload. PS this tunnel is longer than most and it fits pretty large dogs perfectly!

UPDATE: Upon writing my review, I was contacted by the company and they sent me a new tunnel. I appreciated that very much. We have used the tunnel a couple times but I didn't stake it down because I was afraid it would tear again. Hoping it will last longer than my last one.Original review:I bought this tunnel for my collie. While he loved the tunnel, we found that the stakes in the ground would either come loose, leaving the tunnel to blow around, or the tunnel would tear. Ours tore the 2nd time that our dog used it, and happened within 2 days of using the tunnel. I wish now that I would have sent it back as it cannot be repaired.Love the tunnel itself. It is lightweight and easy to fold. Just wish it were more durable.

We have a new dog, and bought this with the idea of eventually channeling his energy into informal agility training. We just put it up in the house, and have been getting him used to it. The quality appears to be appropriate for what this is supposed to be. It's not a "professional grade" tunnel, and if you buy one of those, you will pay a LOT more than $45. The dimensions are the same as the professional ones however (width and length), and my dog (and the neighbor's dog) have been enjoying it. The carry bag seems durable, and has a decent zipper. None of the sewn parts of the bag or tunnel are coming apart. Given that it's winter, I won't be using it outside until late spring, and will adjust my review then, if it changes. At this point, I'm very satisfied with it!

It came on time and is very easy to open and close, not sure if we got more fun out of trying to show the dogs what to do, or them running in and coming back out the same way!

Really poor quality. Wire sticking out at one end within a few days and now much worse. This is now dangerous! Can’t seem to liaise with seller but can return! Not sure how at the moment.

This is a nice Large Size dog tunnel. It's 24" in height so it's big enough for even toddlers to crawl inside and hide. Our cockapoo puppy loves running through the tunnel chasing balls and playing hide n seek. Our grandkids also have a great time crawling through the tunnel and chasing our puppy. While the play value of this tunnel is good I do wish the construction was a little more durable. The nylon is very lightweight and thin. We have collapsible garbage bins for our RV and construction sites that are made of much more heavyweight nylon.I bought this tunnel for $66 dollars because it was the lower cost between two models I was looking at on Amazon. The other tunnel was almost $33 more and had similar reviews. At $39 this tunnel would be a really good deal however for $66 I was expecting a heavier weight nylon and more durable product. I give this tunnel a solid 5 stars for play value but only 2 stars for quality and durability. I don't expect it to last more than 6 months.
