Not as good as Cat’s Claw fasteners which I also use, but these are cheaper. I use this type of fastener when it is time to repair pasture wire fencing and barbed wire. Much better than using staples. These hold tight and go into my cedar posts quickly using a battery powered drill and the provided socket. They are advertised as stainless steel, however a magnet will pick them up. Good stainless steel is not magnetic!

It enabled me to secure steel fencing to wooden frame better than heavy staples that work their way out allowing fencing to be loose.
