I used these hangers on a kids swing set. Using an auger bit, drilled a hole through a 4x6 and attached these hangers. Very sturdy, smooth glide and easy to take apart.

I installed these hangers through a 4x4 beam to use with a porch swing. They seem very durable and they allow the swing to move smoothly, quietly, and effortlessly.However, the nylon inside the locknuts cross threaded on both hangers when tightening them down and I was unable to tighten them down all the way as a result and had to cut them off with a hacksaw. I ended up using regular nuts to finish the job.

I got these for a large porch swing. I recommend adding some larger washes on both ends to displace the weight even more across the beam.Quick tip for getting lock nuts on quickly. Take out the hook and slide a screw driver through the hole. Use a long socket to get the lock nut as far as you can. Then a regular wrench to finish if socket isn’t long enough. Don’t rotate the socket, rotate the screw driver on the bottom until you are close to done. Then tighten completely using screw driver to hold the hanger in place while you finish tightening.

These are pretty sturdy- the diameter of the thread is 0.37". I did not have any of the mentioned problems with galling/stripping the threads. The nylock nuts aren't super tight, but they come with 2 nuts and 2 washers each so you can jam-nut them together. A good value.

This hardware is top notch. Having a custom pergola built I wasn’t about to buy cheap hardware. This is solid stainless steel with bushings to allow the swing to glide easily. Can’t wait until warmer weather to put it to use.

This product was exactly what I was looking for. Needed to attach a swing to a ceiling and with no squeaking noise when the swing moves. Simple installation (had some trouble with nylon nuts being tight to remove) and solid performance.
