I have been wanting a piano for a while, but had limited space and funds. This lovely little piano takes up only the the room it needs, without sacrificing that full keyboard feel. It is as close to an acoustic sound and responsiveness as I have found in a digital piano. For me, a recreational player, I love that it is relatively light weight (especially compared to an acoustic!) and that I can move it myself, enjoying playing and not worry about it going out of tune. The appearance is lovely, and fits in well with the room and furniture. It was easy to put together myself. I love that it doesn't have all the 'bells and whistles' of other digital pianos, because I really just wanted a Piano and that is what this is-A Piano. It just happens to be electric instead of acoustic. Perfect for my needs!I am delighted with the piano-Even more so with the Customer Service at Donnor. The piano I received, unfortunately came with a faulty pedal ( The middle pedal didnt work, the other two did) I immediately contacted Donnor Customer service through the link provided by Amazon -but you can also contact them directly from their website as well. ( I did NOT turn to Amazon returns-they are growing ever more frustrating to deal with). A representative at Donnor answered me back within a few days. The initial response took a bit longer than I was led to believe but once I was in contact they were great! I explained the issue and they -without hesitation or questions-, shipped me a new pedal system right away. It arrived well within the expected time and it worked right out of the box. I give the Five stars because the piano is exactly what I wanted And they stand by their product. They actually seem to care about their customers-a rarity in this world. I would recommend this piano to anyone looking for a sturdy, playable, and pretty piano.

After a recent move, I was looking for a new digital piano. I'm an intermediate/advanced player. Previously, I had a $900 Privia and was overall very satisfied with that, and was skeptical about this one because it is so much more affordable. I have to say, I like the Donner DDP-80 even more, for hundreds less than the Privia.PROS:- Weighted keys feel better than any other keyboard I've ever played - they have that heft/weight to them that most digital pianos lack.- Sound quality - it's just a beautiful sounding instrument. I usually play with headphones, but the times I've played out loud with the built in speakers, it has also sounded great. You get that "feel it in your chest" effect that usually only happens on the real thing.- Dynamics - holy moly, it really is like playing an acoustic piano - it is extremely responsive to touch and feels very natural. You can play very expressively. Also, the included 3-pedal works great (some older reviews mention the pedal didn't work upon arrival but they have since fixed whatever the issue was).- Easy to assemble - truly you just have to screw the legs on and tighten the music stand. Much easier than my last keyboard which had a bulky wooden console that took a long time to put together. Note that the legs are metal covered to look like wood grain - these are very sturdy legs. The piano doesn't move around at all when playing.- Aesthetics - not the most important thing by any means, but you have to admit it's just beautiful. It is exactly as pictured.CONS:- No bells & whistles - just one piano tone, no settings to fiddle with other than volume. I thought I might miss these features but I don't. If you just want to play piano, this is it.- No dust cover for the keys. Easy to fix with a scarf.Overall I'm just thrilled with this instrument! I was a little scared to buy from this company since they are newer and seem to exclusively sell online, but this particular model was a great purchase. And truly this isn't just for beginners - I think a piano player at any level would be impressed with the quality of this instrument.

I owned an acoustic piano for many years before I had to sell it; as a result I’m very picky about the weight and action of my piano keys. This keyboard feels about as good as it gets for a non-acoustic piano. The keys have a pleasing weight and feel almost like the real thing. The piano only comes with one voice option (grand piano) with a MIDI output if you want more, but for regular play this is enough for me. The grand piano sound is rich and quite authentic, but I was disappointed to learn that the volume knob isn’t as smooth/incremental as you’d expect. It’s almost as if there are only three volume settings: quiet, medium, and exceedingly loud. I often use headphones so I suppose it’s not the biggest issue for me, but it felt like a design flaw. The keyboard came very well packaged and required very little assembling; just attach the legs (which are metal for sturdiness) and you’re good to go.Once assembled, it looks like a dream and matches my midcentury modern decor perfectly. The wood has a warm, reddish tone that I just love. It really is a thing of beauty. All in all I’m thrilled with this purchase; it’s an excellent value for any intermediate to advanced player who’s looking for the convenience of a keyboard with the feeling of an acoustic piano!

Great piano, solid weighted keys, feels like playing a real piano. Great price for what you get, better than plastic keys keyboard. You can also plug this to your PC and it will work perfectly, no additional mixer is needed. 10/10

The Donner DDP-80 is absolutely beautiful, both aesthetically and functionally. I got the light wood colour and it matches my home perfectly. I decided on the DDP-80 after researching Donner’s various options, as well as other considerations when purchasing a digital piano. I’ve only ever played on acoustic pianos and have always been hesitant to get a digital piano because I didn’t like how light the keys felt and found the sound quality to be crap. The DDP-80 has weighted keys which emulate the hammer-action feel of an acoustic piano, and only has one sound option, which has been refined through multiple audio samples of grand acoustic pianos—This was perfect for me, because I’d much prefer to have 1 quality audio vs. 10 mediocre audio samples to pick from. The piano itself is well-built (mind you, it’s not real wood but it looks close!), a nice compact size for condo-spaces, affordable (especially if there’s a discount), easy to assemble, and just really beautiful to look at.

This keyboard is really good. Nothing digital is every perfect but I have been teaching piano with this one and my students like it. I've even recommended it for purchase for another student as they need a new one. Not giving it a perfect score because the pedal is not quite as responsive as I'd like but I love the design and it sounds good.
