Works well. Has a rattling noise from vent when you use a microphone. But the noise doesn’t get picked up in a recording. Compact for space. Nice digital deep echo. Will keep.

High quality piece of human engineering. I use it for my home theater as previous owner of the house had in-wall mounted speakers but was cheep enough to not leave the receiver.... We ll this worked just fine only concerns are the humming noise when there is no input into device (for example you turn off TV and then this thing will make hummmmmm until you turn it off, or forget to turn off and it will hummmmm all night) also I have a dedicated room for all wiring / cables were I put this thing but remote from it is IR and I have to stend up, open the door turn it on / off or change valume) very annoying.

The main reason that I returned this was that the volume button only adjust the volumes in decibels of 10. Therefore, when it is at 0 dB, you only move up to 10 dB on the first click of the volume button. The volume button does not have clicks, however when you rotate it, you can feel that there are notches in the internal components, and you cannot find tune the volume Unfortunately, after I hooked this up to my speakers in my living room, the volume at zero is obviously nothing, and the volume at 10 dB was louder than what we like to have our background music to be at. Therefore, I returned this unit. Otherwise it does appear to be well enough made to do the job if you were wanting to use it for karaoke or some other sound system where you wanted to have loud music played.

Previous review was accurate about the device. Plug is abnormal to most devices in a household. Slight popping sounded detected when powered off/on.Remote buttons will also trigger another response that you did not select. Switching modes is annoying, better if a button for each mode instead of cycling for prefer mode.The receiver is okay, but is frequently used especially when rotating modes; might be better going different direction.

This is not an Audio/Video Receiver (AVR) which are traditionally used in home theater systems and come with some pretty serious decoding software.This unit is a simple audio amplifier and powerful for the price. For example, a $500-$700 AVR may be around 100 watts per channel for a total of 500-700 watts depending on the AVR. This amplifier is pushing 1000 watts. I hooked this up to a couple of Polk Audio floor standing speakers (each tower has 4, 6 inch woofers and a dome tweeter) and this could easily blow my speakers. It also has a great heatsink. After about 10 minutes of continuous high level use, the unit wasn’t even warm.Clarity is decent for the price. I didn’t notice much distortion or interference. There was some interference when I initially hooked it all up, but it was my fault with how I connected the speaker wire in the back. Once I fixed it, no issues. This amplifier also has an adjustable equalizer (knob style) that can independently adjust highs, lows, and mids.At any rate, I’ve only completed an initial test and haven’t explored all of the options but my first impression is a good one. Just be aware of what you are buying. This is a stereo amplifier.
