Works awesome, I am a DIY'er when it comes to lapidary. When doping I needed a reliable source of heat to melt the wax and heat the stone. I tried other melters, but they would not stand up to the job that was needed. I feel this is a need, heats the wax and stone's, storage for dop sticks. Product does what it was meant to do.

I ordered a new dop pot because the one I was given was old and crusty. I don't know what type of wax was included with this pot, but I sure wish I did! The wax is fantastic and holds the stones so much better than what I have.

One set temperature keeps this user friendly. Fits about half a stick of wax with room on the outer edge to heat stones. Takes about 20 minutes to completely melt the wax. I have steam punk dop sticks and it applies great. It also comes with 4oz of green dop wax.

First time with sticks and stones...and it worked so all you newbies who are on the fence between this and a cheaper torch. This works even for dummies the 1st time

Very poor quality…it never did heat the bowl and burned out the bottom on first try…I got lucky and it didn’t start a fire are you willing to roll the dice ?

I did not buy this through Amazon but found this to be the only place to review this product. This device does not get hot enough to melt green wax. Once you try to melt the wax then the unit is deemed used and not returnable. Looks like I bought a piece of junk. Now I am debating do I need to buy a new element to try and fix this new pot or buy another manufacturers product. A true waste of money.I contacted Inland crafts directly. They covered the product and is sending out a tested replacement unit! That's great customer service.
