I bought a Fender Squire 70s classic Vibe bass as a project. I added and Audere preamp which required that I route a hole for a battery box and make the cavity larger for the preamp. After completing these tasks I wanted to replace the stock pickguard to increase the 70s hip factor by a magnitude of at least 3.Pros:- The pickguard looks pretty cool and the bass looks great with it.- it fit and I was able to install it.- The price is right. You can get one from Fender for $69. This is 1/4 of that.- it comes with nice screws. I didn't need them as my bass is very new. However, I may use the screws that came to replace screws on a different bass.Cons:- As someone else may have mentioned the pattern only printed on the face of the pick guard instead of being an all the way through or I'm edded image. I take good care of my instruments and see no issue with this.- The fit was not exact. This was not a deal breaker and just meant that holes did not line up exactly. See the pictures This may have been an issue of I were installing this on a valuable 1977 P-Bass but my Squier p-bass is made of the relatively soft (and light) poplar wood. It was not a problem. I was able to tighten the screws and they "wallowed" out the holes a bit and it worked just fine. I was a bit surprised in this day and age of computerized CNC machines that it was not perfect. Also, this may have been because I have the 70s vibe model P-Bass instead of the standard. I'm not sure.Summary: This is a decent, relatively good looking, budget priced, pick guard. Would I install it on a $2000 instrument? Probably not but it is great for my Fender Squier.

Looks good. Had to file out the pickup holes a little bigger. Took long enough to get through customs

Really nice scratch plate. Has a slight matte finish. Nice floral design.Pick ups and screw holes are not a perfect match for a standard fender or squier P bass. Be prepared to do some light filing/sanding. It didn't take long to do but keep your original scratch plate to use as a template.Other than that I think it's great.

It looks great! BUT… it didn’t fit. About 3 of the screw holes actually lined up (I managed to get them all in just about at an angle with difficulty). Big problem was it didn’t fit around the pickups so I had buy some files and then slowly chip away so that there was enough of a space.
