Bought this several years ago for a guitar I built. This product came flat with no defects. Has really good plastic protection laminate on it. The reason I am doing the review now as to when purchased as it was just another plastic sheet back then is to tell how durable and stable it is. Its been on the guitar now for several years with no signs of warping, separation, or fading.

I got an ibanez 8 string and a set of passive pickups for it. It has soapbar routes. I wasn’t a fan of the look with the larger routes showing so I began searching for a pickguard template. After a lot of work I found one that I was able to print to scale and bought this material. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was 3 ply, sturdy and there was enough for 2 in case I ruin one or the other. Still a work in progress but I like the look of the white Pearl and so far it’s been pretty easy to work with. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this again for another project.

Great material for making replacement pick guards for guitars or any decorative cover plates.Note that this it's not a self adhesive decal and it is permanently bonded to a stiff plastic sheet that is about 1/16†thick. They do sell a separate sheet that is actually a self adhesive decal but this is not it.You will need a saw or a CNC cutter to cut shapes from this product.I decided to keep this to use as a protective cover on my work surface for doing repairs.

Beautiful material, but be careful when you cut it to shape. I recommend taping it where you are cutting and take your time so you don't chip the edges.

I was surprised to see some scuffing and marks under the protective film. Product was not perfect but I was able to cut a pickguard out of a clean section. I used a Dremel to rough cut the pick guard, drill the holes and counter sink the holes for the screw heads.
