I was vacationing at the Hoover dam and noticed a small leak. Purchased this 7th wonder of the world, plugged the hole with this puppy and prevented lake Meade from completely draining out!!! Probably saved humanity!!! Oh and I also used one to plug a hole on top of a plastic gasoline tank...

The plug tightened in the hole and appeared to be fine. In the meantime, the vehicle sat inside for a couple of weeks. I took it for a state inspection and still no leaks. A couple of weeks later, I headed for the tire shop to have the front tires replaced. I did notice a slight leak, so I snugged the plug a bit more. On my way back from the tire shop the plug blew out without warning. There I was, stuck on the shoulder of the road. Fortunately I had purchased two of that size and proceeded to reinstall a new plug and fill the coolant level. I do carry extra coolant etc in this truck. The spare plug completely crumbled apart, leaving me stranded and in need of a tow rig. They are garbage!

incorrect piece arrived. Ordered and wanted a 3.3cm (1.29") diameter plug as add says, and 3/4" diameter plug arrived. Fast and flawless shipping good quality plug if needed.still in need of correct plug..
