Have used them many times for side of the road repairs on many bikes, my own and people I'm with. But not a permanent fix unless you throw some solder on them when you get back. When used with stainless steel cables I cannot get them tight enough to not slip off again. Even broke the head of the screw off cranking down on them.

I ordered the wrong size from Dorman they want to send me another one but cannt seem to get the message of what size to have them send me. I need a 1/4 dia, to fit in handle and 1/16 wire diameter Please don’t send the last size I ordered as that doesn’t fit. Thank you
