washer is brittle, breaks into pieces which allows the wheel bearing to become loose and ruin the entire hub assembly. I had to replace the washer on the other side also because when I started to loosen the axle nut that washer also broke into pieces. Very poor product.

Nice and affordable front axle service kit. Includes the spindle nut, spring washer, flat washer, retaining washer and cotter pin. Not many people do, but Chrysler recommends replacing these each time you remove the axle nut for servicing the axle half shafts or front end work. The price was really low and very affordable compared to the box stores and auto centers.

There is no hole for the cotter pin on the original CV shaft!
